Oregon Clamming - catch and clean clams

The best time to go clam digging in Oregon is usually during a low tide. The lower the tide the better. For bay clam, a shovel is usually all you need. But if you go after cockles, a rake works best. Here I was clamming on the mud flats during a negative tide. The clams I got were pretty big.
