I have owned this statue for about four months now, it is my first piece of a hopefully growing collection. And I love everything about it especially the cape. Inside is same material as real US army issued uniforms. It took me about two weeks of looking at it and adjusting, to get a perfect look that complements the statue. I believe the mix media cape is an opportunity to help design the piece that you don't get with a sculpted cape. Great review, keep up the good work!

the square pattern is meant to mimic ripstop material Jorge. The grid is tougher threads to stop a rip. Pretty much all military grade fabrics are sewn like that now.
I was excited for PF batman I pre order it in day 1.. When I got it I was little bit disappointed didn't match my expectations.. I loved the base, portrait is unique more older batman but younger than DKR .. So disappointed with cape and paint is bad.. All batman I own is from prime1 this is my first sideshow PF batman.. you can notice the big difference between the detailed of both company.. Prime 1 is the best statue company couse they don't have large edition size for there statues like sideshow that gives them more time to make every single piece perfect #EditionSizeMatter #sideshow #LowEditionSize

I go back and fourth on this, but I do think his head should be a percentage (or two) bigger. Especially compared to the bulk of him. I have him displayed high, so I look up at him when I'm in the couch, and from there his head looks a bit small.
Vegard lol thanks for commenting. I can see what you are saying but I kinda like the bulk of him. I think it kinda has a Jim Lee style slightly. Definitely not completely. But the short ears and the larger muscles give me that impression. Congrats on getting this one. I’m going to break out the comics today and try to find a better cape pose. at 7:30 i can see some paste like substance in the small gaps on his right arm near his shoulder, is that a normal thing? I found some on mine just recently

Awesome review, my combat boots never looked like BATMANS. I thought that I pre-ordered this statue and I forgot, so I did pre-ordered mine won't be coming in until FEBRUARY of next year due to the paymeny plan.

dee 333 it’s like a pleather and yes it could flake later down the road. Since this statue was part of a giveaway I don’t own it anymore. I would think that if you stay on top of it with the dusting and use a leather conditioner occasionally it would be fine

Haha you can’t keep it Marvelous haha..I still enjoy these outakes but why no end credits like you did in your other review video. Im still not a fan of this Batman statue but have a better appreciation of it for the backstory of Amadeus and how it’s incorporated in to this statue. Agree about if the tombstone and the rest of the base had a gloss or wet look as it would compliment his wet look cape. Really like the details on him but his traps still look off to me and gives that quasi modo feel. Great review Jorge. Hope you are keeping Marvelous this weekend haha

I agree to disagree man, this is one of worst Batman pieces ever created imo!!! Pose its awkward, proportions of the body are really off, looks like he is on steroids!!! The hunchback is huge and ridiculous, the suit design its all over the top, and my god the chaps its so lame!!! Not to mention the cape, looks really awful!!! The only 2 good things are indeed the portrait and base!!! No wonder de ES its so low and the ex its still available on SS, the sales must have been very bad!!! Congrats anyway!!!
