Holy shit I hate new crap on cars. This is the most ridiculously complicated process for something that isn't necessary at all.
You say that but once they make it easy, everyone thinks they’re meant to do it. Easy things are easy to stumble across as well, could change something by accident.

Tire pressure is measured in psi or bar or another unit for pressure. Not degrees. Otherwise great video. Thanks.

MrPmotion I think they are the same platform. But the transit has so many options. Some don’t even have the tpms receivers. But as far as I know it should work.

awesome man! why do you inflate them beforehand ? Can't you just work with the existing pressure, let some air out and still get them sensors triggered ?
“Technically” yes you can do that. But I’ve seen it that sometimes it takes almost 15-20psi of it been lost/added for the sensor to be programmed. So now let’s just pretend your tire is already low you will probably loose all the air and it still won’t register it. So it’s better to be safe then sorry. In my opinion.

you need to dismount the tire from the rim .. might need to take it to a tire shop

Ferenc Toth sounds ok. Pressure will fluctuate during the day depending on outside temp and how long the car is driven.

I saw another Ford Focus on TH-cam 2014 also push to start and so many are not and this one 2013 and is too, mine is 2014 and it has an actual key. Why so different?
its just different options on the car .. like how some have leather, or rims and some dont

No, it did not
Is there a way to program a new sensor without taking it to the dealership?
The tire shop that replaced mine was able to pair the new sensor.
Does this make your tire pressure too low though?
it might.. but thats why you always re-check the pressure at the end

@@exportmc5445 there are many steps to what I said to do. What didn’t work?
Did they system not open up in the dash? Did it open up and it never honked to start procedure? Did letting air out of the front left tire didn’t cause the car to honk? Did the website not work?
Need some specifics.
But from what you said about the error might be a sensor/system issue.

Same issue for me on 2.0 tdci zetec s.. cant get it to pop up on dash and have tyre sensors not detected check handbook on dash.
