- Very easy, yet delicious. Steak Dinner
Ingredients
beef steak
salt and pepper
garlic
your favorite herb
light olive oil
recipe
pat dry your meat with paper towel to help create the crust on the meat
season the meat with your favorite salt.
heat up the pan with medium to high until you see small smoke from pan
put in your oil, then lay the meat away from you
let it cook one side for approx 5~10min depending on the size of meat.
flip then turn the heat down to medium low then cook for 3 min or until you see red liquid flows out from top of the meat.
let the meat rest on plate for same time you cooked them, and enjoy.

Hey guys, I really appreciate the views and comments!! I made this video very long ago and I understand the cooking guide is not truly accurate, now that I am experienced a lot more in cooking, I will be posting new steak video later on with better recipe and proper cooking time😅

True bro 🔥
Is it made out of diamonds?
Glad I found this. The other 50,000 videos on how to cook a steak didn't do it for me.
It really depends on the heat level and thickness of the meat!! Pls cook safely and enjoy your steak!
@@RionsFoodiewell done is best because if you give it some salt, it will be really good
@@MechCRO not medium!?
It’s like finding the perfect video for how to wrap a burrito. So many videos of people just wasting time and not actually doing it the right way.
Timing really depends on how thick it is tho. I buy thinner steaks and just 15 seconds on a really hot pan is more than enough (if you let them rest properly, that's essential for any steak)
I bought a thick stake and used the stove for roughly 2-3 minutes on both sides. It ended up being well done. If u want perfect medium rare, I recommend either using a lower temperature for more control or checking temperature
yo is that harisson burger toes?
What do you mean by "let them rest"?
@@johnmachter40read them a bedtime story and let them take a nap
@@Kreonkreon ah ok, thanks. which story would you recommend for medium rare?
I have seen hundreds of videos but this is by far the best I’ve seen. It was done just right and the seasonings were perfect. Omg that mashed potatoes looked so good. You did great!
I appreciate the mashed potatoes tutorial and the bonus steak tutorial
Hahhahahhahhahahahahhaahahahahahahhahahhahahhahahahhahahhaahahhahahah
Great video , a lot of people really make cooking a steak seem super complicated
5-10 minutes from high heat? 5-6 and they're getting to medium. 10 is well done brother. More like 4-6 minutes depending on thickness. Never more
And how long after it's flipped? (I'm just now learning)
@@krystalynnx i usually cook a steak in total for 5-6 minutes. More if they really thick. Flipping constantly and basting after 3 minutes sear
Yeah I did 4 minutes on each side but it wasn't as pink as I hoped! Thanks for the pro tip! @@Faxen22
@@krystalynnx yeah that sounds like a lot 😅 if it’s also a thick steak to the point where it would require more than 6-7 minutes in total I’d recommend to either sous vide or reverse sear
@@krystalynnxgood trick is learning the finger test. Thumb to middle finger then with your other hand feel the palm. This is medium rare
Makes it look so easy.
Who is this dinner for? Ants!? I need more 😎
How long I have to butter baste the steak? I want to try, your steak are perfect
2-3min with heat off🫡
This is an awesome steak!

Thank you this turned out very good
Glad you liked it☺️
Bro this looks extravagant
Is it okay to wash the meat after you bought it fresh from market?
5-10 minutes is an insanely broad timeframe.
@@sparktaylor8489 I'm well aware. They need to give people the temperature at which to remove the steak. Pointless otherwisw
EVEN THO ITS COOKED IT LOOKS RAW AS HELL💀💀💀😭😭😭

Hope it goes well👍
@@RionsFoodie Thank you i hope so too😉🙏🏽
“And that my friend would be $999 👌🏻”
5-10 minutes? I usually cook my steaks 1 minute each side and flip twice then into a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes. Perfect everytime just make sure you add butter to the pan/top of the steak before the oven
can you cook nalli nihari
That looks delicious I would eat that 10/10 ❤
Cut grass shavings is crazy
I kinda want to taste the mash potatoes more than the steak
100th comment
Btw thanks for helping
Just watching this video cause I just cooked my steak medium rare and making sure I cooked it proprely it always scares me
Niceeee your good...👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
How much time to do you let it cook in the pan after flipping it ? and how much time do you let it rest ?
With this size meat i used, medium high heat until you see smoke from pan, oil the pan and lay the meat away, let it cook for 5~6min, flip and cook same time with medium low. Turn the heat to low and add herbs or butter etc. let it base for 1 min and rest the meat for approx 8~10min
Don't use this guide, 5-10 min will make your steak be as tough as a shoe
@@Xenon_177 Seems like it depends on which piece of meat from the animal
With a top sirloin, it made it taste like a shoe since it's usually a rather thin piece, but on a rumsteak it was correctly cooked
@@Xenon_177 I believe it depends on the thickness of meat and the heat! Low and slow and tender and mellow🫠
@@nighteyes360 thank you for understanding the difference of meat, im sorry everyone, this meat i used were thick and cheap, so i had to slower and longer to cook it to perfect temp
what cut of steak is this?
Flat iron🫡
Nice! Good cooking, chill, delicious, great video! 10/10!
Delicious
My plate would have 6 times the potatoes and steak
looks good
Just the way uncle Chael likes it
Long and hard and juicy 💀
Salt goes after
I treated my friend to a steakhouse and they asked for well done. We're no longer friends
Your friends has chosen the path of bloodshed
Literally said to him: "You're dead to me, like that steak"
@@themanwiththeannoyedface3774I am sorry on your loss of a friendship, also another note -prefect choice of last words to the end of it 🥹👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Isnt it kind of cold after letting it rest??
that is why you don’t cut up the steak before resting it so that the heat remains inside the steak
Don’t cut it and leave it in tin foil
Fancy restaurant: That will be 800$
Thx for the tater resipe
I’d finish that plate in one bite
What meat would you recommend
Newyork strip, ribeye, fillet mignon are the easiest choice to cook tender and juicy meat. If not, round of eyes, chuck meat, or rump/sirloin will come out right but needs temp control and skill management
that’s raw
that's raw 🤓

Im pretty sure thats rare, medium rare has a brown inside with about a 1/3 fraction of pink on the insides surface

You could of rendered the steaks fat more and the mashed patato didnt look that smooth
Lets " cook " steak ??? They why isnt it cooked ..done ???
Because if its well done there wont be any juice and if its well done its fuckin overcooked

heat up ut butter and milk a bit

That will be 5 grand plz
Your whole seasoning is sparkling a wee bit salt on top in the end 😂
If its cooked .......its not Medium Rare !!!!!!
It must be well done
It is done
My steak is easy rare
Overcooked, only needs about 30 seconds each side. Make sure the center is still cool and raw.
That portion is for a 4 year old
5-10 minutes is misleading, 2-3 minutes per side is enough for medium rare.
" how was your steak sir "
"Its still moowing"
You never had a single medium rare steak have you?
@ZylerKnowsScience right now, its been a while since i made this steak, my cooking skills and experience us way high. This steak is rare turning into medium rare in 2min. I cut it open without proper rest so it looks like this, but it would been medium rare

I may not be the chef but place i work at is Michelin.
5 to 10 minutes 😂 if you looking for a well done steak maybe 😂
It depends on the size of meat and heat for sure but thank you for your advice, i will make sure to make better instruction next time, i will do better
