hi there, i havea ur22c, rode nt2a mic, and iphone 12promax. i set up excatly same one as you do. but when i record iphone video, sound is only output from left mic, the right side has completely no sound. wondering if you know any reason why this is happening. looking at your video, but you take a iphone video, you have sound coming out from both speakers.
I've been trying this for a few hours now and have two significant problems. I'm using the UR44, with the Apple interface, hooked up in the same was as shown in the video; problem 1- I hear the fx as selected within the app or on the UR44 mixer on my computer but they don't translate to the output sound from the interface. Problem 2- When I try to record the video on my iPhone I hear the mic sound (Beta 57) but the video has no sound on it when played back. I'm sure I've missed something pretty simple, pretty frustrating though!
1. Turn on loop back option on dspMixFx app on your pc. 2. First unplug the camera adapter from your iPhone and turn off your interface. Second, open camera app and set video mode, then plug the camera adapter and turn on your interface. The problem should be solved, but if you quit the application, you will have the same problem again.
Hello. I have question. How I can play a backtrack from my computer. Lets say backingtrack from TH-cam and record a video on it. Should I use AUX and adaptor to plug it in?
1) I bought an UR24 4channel but I cant hear my condenser mic even if I put the 48V on. 2) Do I need to upload an app to make it work on live stream (like Star maker karaoke app) how will my iphone connect to the condenser mic?
Hi thank you so much for this video; One question please. Is it possible to use this audio interface on FL Studio or Protools, recording directly in the iphone (stream live), and at the same time listening the song through the 2 output jack on the back? thk you
I just purchased the UR44. I wanted the extra inputs so I could stream my stereo pair of mics for my piano (input 1 & 2) plus a dedicated mic for my voice (Input 3). I've had no difficulties interfacing with my iPhone and successfully got all 3 inputs recording to 3 tracks in the Garage Band app on my iPhone. However, as soon as I open up Facebook Live I lose the 3rd input. Facebook is only hearing and recording Inputs 1 & 2. Nothing from 3. Anyone know how to send inputs 3 through 6 to my iPhone during Facebook Live performances? I'm new to this. I can't find anything online addressing this issue. (perhaps because I don't know precisely what to search for)
Simply put: what they are showing here can not happen in reality. Even Steinberg support cannot explain how the audio from the phone is exchanged for the mic audio. They told me I must have mis-interpreted what is going on here. The sound does get to your headphones, and yes, the UR app on the pc *can* effect the audio but the output is ONLY that of the native iPhone microphone. Audio and video are not possible to merge. End of story.
Hi Craig, I had the same problem trying to do live concert on Zoom with just my Steinberg UR-44. One input got dropped. I'm looking at getting a small mixer so that I can send a mixed stereo signal to the Steinberg interface that includes multiple tracks, also adding reverb to warm up my voice. Hoping this is going to solve the problem!
Melissa Dittrich David - this is precisely what I ended up doing. I got a Yamaha MG10XU and have done what you describe. 3 mic’s in to the mixer with a little EQ and reverb. Stereo out from mixer goes to my UR44 1 and 2 inputs. USB on UR44 goes to iPhone. Technically, the USB port on the MG10UX is class compliant and can send to the iPhone but I had problems with it and the level it outputs is low. That all said, I’ve had no problems using the UR44 with Zoom. I used it for a concert last night. 3 mic’s using 3 inputs on the UR44 and all went to Zoom no problem.
I got a question regarding to the connections between my Iphone and the charger phone in order to streaming in a place where I don't to use the regular source power. In 8:25" you don't show where you connect the Iphone. Would you please revel to us. It seems there is something missing. I just my UR 44C and I confess the only reason I did that was I though I really was able to use it in a square for example or in anywhere since as I have internet. Please, help me. Is somebody is having the same issue, please leave you comments. Thx.
Please Help. I try using Cubasis LE 3 with my UR22 mk2. Its good when I am in Cubasis app in my Iphone. However when I switch app to tiktok for livestream the DAW Audio is Gone. I dont know why...
So 10:00 this means that i can record basic video with my iPhone but with pro audio from the interface? (not streaming, no internet, no apps, just simple recording) Can I also record video on i Phone while recording the signal in Cubasis on the same iPhone?
Trying it from last 3 days in 2 different phone in 4 different applications its not getting support in UR22 mkII and using all this in android phone but I'm getting an error msg can somebody help me in this @GAK
I submitted a support ticket to Steinberg regarding this issue and was told that: "the Loopback mode is not possible when you are in cc mode. The videos you might be seeing are from a computer based dspMixFX and not the iOs version." Which to me, seems like the events in this video can't actually be replicated as shown. Really? I'm hoping I've missed something along the way but this seems like some kind of deception?!
Sandeep S it stands for Class Compliant. It means your iOS device or whatever will be able to talk to your interface. However, I’m my experience, it still doesn’t work regardless of the switch on or off.
@@marcnovoselec2389 Oh, thanks for this. A gentlemen in the comments below has bought a Yamaha Mixer to solve the communication issue. Did you try that as well? I was hoping to switch to iPhone from Android phones just to leverage this facility of connecting Steinberg's audio interface to the microphone.
Someone on the other video posted this and said it worked for them. Did you try this? www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MK0W2AM/A/lightning-to-usb-3-camera-adapter I'm in Canada. You can search your equivalent country and try this, perhaps?
Good question. I think he just connected to the interface and they started jamming together right away. But, Steinberg provides a very simple software to control that issue. A dspMixFX UR-C which has high-pass filters, compressors, reverbs, etc. to tweak the setup.

Using this set up with the UR22 Mk2 and an iPad Pro and all I’m getting is glitchy distortion and lag. Can’t find any solutions anywhere.
App for reverb effect for live performance in live stream in any app
I can use it for any application? Multi guests ?
