Despite the grim dark tone of the story, it's hard to take it seriously when those guys in the back are wearing silly pointed helmets.

That was the best part! The juxtaposition. It was like watching a Daft Punk music video. Remember those things?

Zor-El is the name of Supergirl's father in DC Comics while Daxamites are aliens in that universe with powers similar to Superman.

      You're right.
I only listened to the story, and to me it sounded like Jor-El.
      My bad.
      Sorry and thanks.

    Down vote for ai
I wonder if 88 is the number of ai he runs at once, or the number of stries he churnes out every hour. Maybe both.

Hi fellows, greetings from Germany and thanks from a SF-Fan for your work.
I just have a question respectively a hint about a passage in the final text shown at the bottom of the video.
It's said: "... and for every comment that says 88... "
I don't know if this is a translation error but it could cause problems, especially for German listeners.
The synonym for "88" and it's use will cause massive problems with german law for all German people; it's strictly forbidden !
"88" belongs to the Nazi Regime that started WW2 and refers to the 8th letter of the alphabet, the "H".
"88" means "HH --> Heil Hitler", the stated greet during the Nazi Era; as we all surely know there are still unteachables out there using this phrase "88" as their greeting.
I don't mean any offense, just a respectful "please" not to use (if possible) this phrase in the future.
So long and keep up your good work, thx in advance for further stories in the future. Of course a "thumbs up" and an abo.

It’s easy to find something that has no meaning in one language but is offensive in another.
The final word you use is “Abo,” which is a denigrating Aussie term for the Aborigines.

@@drcovell I thank you for your comment, but you compare apples with pears. You can't compare words used in common language with the use and the meaning of such a synonym. "Abo" or "Abonnement" is common language and means "to subscribe" or "subscription". But it was my fault not to use the correct english word, I used the German word for "subscription". Sorry for that-
I wasn't searching for anything to criticize and I don't think that the synonym "88" is used in any common language. Many or most languages all over the world have denigrating terms. But this fact also has nothing to do with a synonym that belongs to and stands for one of if not the darkest hour of humanity, especially for Germany.
I just explained kindly the historical context and the meaning of this synonym. And I also just asked politely and with all respect not to use, if possible, this synonym furthermore because of its historical context. In Germany you can go to jail for using this synonym in publicity, except its used for educational purpose during a lecture for example. I don't think that someone goes to jail in Australia for using the denigration in your example.
