Tamiya Toyota GR 86 1/24 Scale Model Build Temporary assembly

- Tamiya's latest kit, Tamiya 1/24 sports car series 361 This is a temporary assembly video of Toyota GR 86. It is not painted at all.
I plan to post a production video in the future.
This kit has very little thinness of plastic and is highly complete without painting. The body does not need to be sharpened. If you sharpen it, it may worsen. There is a slight plastic thinning under the hood and under the left doorknob, but not enough to putty on.
A surfacer is sufficient. For beginners, the front bumper and headlights may be a little difficult to install.
Please be careful not to break the parts! It's a nice kit that you can understand without painting, so even beginners should definitely try it!
Tamiya Subaru BRZ will also be released in Japan in January!

A water-based rubber adhesive is used for adhesion. The rubber adhesive can be easily peeled off and no trace of the adhesive remains.

１つ教えていただきたいのですが、メッキパーツにウレタンクリアを吹くのはどうしてですか？また多くのモデラーさんはメッキを剥がしているようですが、メッキは活用してますか？

水性ゴム系接着剤は塗装も溶かさないので便利ですね!
通常プラスチックメッキはウレタンクリアでコートされていますが、何故かプラモデルの場合コートされていません。その為、手などでさわるとメッキにキズが入り白くなってしまいます。ドブ漬けメッキと違いプラスチックメッキはプラスチックに樹脂を吹き付け、その樹脂を化学反応でメッキにしているので非常に柔らかいのです。
メタルプライマーかラッカークリアでも良いのでコートすることをおすすめします。
ガンプラなどはわかりませんがランナーを少し手でこすって白くなればコートされていません。
メッキを剥す方が多くいらしゃいますが、「安っぽく軽く見える」と言うのが理由の様です。
しかし、高級時計のメッキは安っぽく見えません。それは表面がなめらかで綺麗だからです。最近のタミヤキットはメッキが非常に綺麗です。特にGR86は剥す必要は無いと思います。実車はGRスープラのマフラー出口や240zgのウインドーサッシはステンレスなのでウレタンクリアが乾いてから#6000ペーパーで一定方向にキズを入れています。
それ以外はコンパウンドで磨いています。
このチャンネルでは最小限のディテールアップがコンセプトなのでメッキが悪い場合以外は剥がさずに使用しています。

Thank you. The water-based rubber adhesive I use is amzn.asia/d/cC8NZtU . It is the same as the adhesive for Tamiya clear parts. I use this glue to assemble all parts.
Can you show which Tamiya clear part glue you are referring to as well?
Is there a silver/steel color option?

Painting is also a hassle for me. However, I am happy when it is completed. If painting is a hassle, this kit is so complete that you don't have to paint it. Only the window frame and tail lamps will be colored, and I think it will be even better!

良ければ知りたいのですが、おそらく今回はまたバラす事を前提の仮組みだと思いますが固定方法はどうされてますか？

色はレッドかブルーで迷っています。定番ならレッドですかね～でもブルーも捨てがたいです。
GR86のレッドは多分新色ですね。見たことないカラー番号でした。
通常の仮組みはマステと水性ゴム系接着剤(クリアパーツ用接着剤)を使っています。
今回は撮影用なので全て水性ゴム系接着剤を使っています。
ゴム系接着剤だとピンセットで綺麗に落とせますがうっかり付けすぎるとプラスチックが割れるかと思うほど引っ張らないと取れないことがあります🥺
私も大量のマステ出ます。6割ぐらいは再利用しています😀

タミヤなら仮組み抜きでもいけますけど海外キットよく作る身だと仮組みは結構重要な工程なので色々勉強中です！

海外キットは大変ですね。油分が残っていたりお湯につけて歪み取ったりと手間がかかる物もあります。海外製は仮組みを無視出来ないのがやっかいです!
昨日、同じカーモデルを購入し、
仮組を行なっているのですが、ハイグレード接着剤を使用した箇所は、後から剥がしたり出来るのでしょうか？
ガンプラしか製作した事ないので、パーツがバラバラになってしまい、困っています。
良ければ教えて下さい。
ハイグレード接着剤は奇麗に剥がせますが、付けすぎると剥がすのがかなり大変です。仮組みなら少量で十分です。細いパーツはゆっくりと慎重に剥がしてください。パーツに付着した接着剤はピンセットでつまんで引っ張れば奇麗に取れますよ😀👍
