Blake Walker (11 years old of One Voice Children’s Choir) sings a cover of the iconic and inspirational song, “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban. This beautiful arrangement and accompaniment is by Masa Fukuda, world-renown director of The One Voice Children’s Choir and the very talented violinist, David Price.
“You Raise Me Up” is a song of hope that is inspiring at any stage of life. When you feel discouraged and lonely, the world can feel very dark and unfriendly. Don’t despair, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! You are surrounded by angels who raise you up, both seen and unseen. As you are lifted up by others, the world completely changes into something beautiful and hopeful. It gives you the strength to face your challenges and then in turn, help others to rise. You can be their angel too!

Blake is 11 years old and a member of the One Voice Children’s Choir. He is the oldest with 3 younger sisters. Singing comes as natural to Blake as breathing. He also needs music as much as he needs air to breathe! He has been featured in many One Voice Children’s Choir videos, traveled to Japan and France for special performances, and has even sang in a private performance for the Princess of the Kingdom of Tonga. He won the Salt Lake County’s Got Talent Competition, and has performed for nearly 20,000 people at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Blake likes to swim, climb trees, ride horses, and of course, SING!
