Actually, I do use a submersible pump to help with water movement, which aids in keeping the water clear by promoting better circulation and oxygenation. It’s a great way to maintain water quality even without a traditional filter!

Nice aquarium, but most definitely not a biotope in any way. Plants from 3 continents, animals, also from 3 vastly different environments. Just call it what it is.

I understand your concern. In our case, even the plants aren’t from the original habitat.
Is still a weird comparion to the Japanese landscape etc but at least he/she stopped making that shady aquascape featuring a mobile game "no one plays" collaboration
