AoF 5th Anniversary and Financial Leaders Programme Graduation Ceremony - Event Highlights

The Hong Kong Academy of Finance (AoF) celebrated its 5th Anniversary and held the Financial Leaders Programme (FLP) Graduation Ceremony for the third FLP cohort on 13 December 2024.
Mr Eddie Yue, Chairman of the AoF and Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the AoF’s achievements throughout its five-year journey before the graduation ceremony began. The FLP graduates then, who came from a broad spectrum of the financial industry, have completed the nine-month Programme and each received their graduation certificates from the Directors of the AoF in recognition of their completion of the nine-month programme.
It was then followed by a panel discussion on “Preparing Hong Kong Financial Leaders for the Global Stage”, featuring our Fellows Dr Norman Chan, Senior Adviser of the AoF, Dr Moses Cheng, Non-official Member of the Executive Council and Dr Anthony Neoh, Co-Chairman, Asian Academy of International Law. The panel was moderated by Mr Arthur Yuen, Deputy Chairman of the AoF and Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA. The audience, especially the FLP graduates, benefited enormously from the invaluable insights shared by the speakers.
The event was well attended by around 100 guests, and was a great opportunity for the AoF family to celebrate and connect.
