Imagine it was you and not Alyssa who gets trampled by aggressive haters online every single day and on top of that struggling with sometimes crippling anxiety, possibly depression too, who had to watch as their own child got tormented by haters too. I would just want to know that there was someone else out there who understands me and loves me, who let me know that there was still hope. Just stop hating on her. She’s literally the sweetest person ever, and she doesn’t deserve that.

She once said in an interview that she literally walked into a mental institution one because she knew she needed help. She explained that when it gets bad she shakes a lot and I sometimes even notice her shaking in the show during moments where it would not be part of the plot. They can’t hide that or stop it. Lyssa is literally Ferdinand the bull, she’s gentle and kind, and would rather just sit in the middle of the arena and smell the flowers if we’re getting more practical, she would sit in the middle of the Hunger Games Arena while everyone else is trying to kill her. She would just sit there singing a solitary song like Lucy Gray. But Rose never cared about that, she just slammed her every chance she got. She was mean to Lyssa and probably scares the crap out of her.
