The song it self is easy was you got the speed and timing down, but by the time I'm finished I feel like I've had a shower I'm sweating that much lol 4 years playing and this is the only song that feels like a workout to play for me lol

Instead of reaching up and down with your index just press the lower part of your finger like a bar quickly.

A Basic Player yeah that's my problem, i cant strum at the right pace at the part after the first chorus, when you play the bassline, i know how it goes and every note i just can't strum right xD
and also.. the solo i haven't even practised yet cuz you know.. solo is hard.. well it's only the part where there's like double high e then double g, the double part of the solo i can't do :3 but the second part i can do pretty well :3 ill check it out!

Can anyone give me some tips on playing fingerstyle this cleanly-mostly slap or plectrum but my fingerstyle needs work as it is very clumsy and I'd like to be able to use it when necessary.
Just takes practice. It's awkward playing fingerstyle at first but the more you do it, the more your fingers get used to it.
guitarandbass1995 Yeah, I've been focusing on it and now actually prefer fingerstyle for most things
Rest your thumb ontop of the E string and use your index and middle finger to pluck the strings, best thing to do first though is learn the baseline and then play it through slower at first and keep repeating that part until you get all the notes, then gradually build up your speed, your arm will strain and burn but seriously it's all worth it in the end :)

ReturnDivided hey give it time ... Just try IT few minutes. nice And slow And if IT Will not work Just forget IT And try IT tomorrow. Your brain Will find a way... but generaly There are two techniques. first was written before. thumb on string or coil. second way Is thumb on strings used for muting higher strings. almost need fór 5 string And more string Bass... with 4 even 5 from my point Off view , Is perfectly ok :-).... And finaly this song Is really Challenge to practice..... ;-)
