General Inspectorate of Police receives equipment to improve public security

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) continues to implement strategic initiatives that contribute to increasing citizens' safety and modernizing institutional structures. A new step in this direction has been taken by equipping the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) with advanced communication equipment, within the framework of the project "Improving crisis response and public security of law enforcement authorities in the Republic of Moldova through the provision of Tetra equipment and training", with a total budget of 1.5 million euro.
The TETRA equipment, which includes portable, mobile and stationary stations, will ensure secure and efficient communication between operational police units, strengthening their ability to respond quickly in crisis situations and in day-to-day activities.
