Every time there's a tribute to Richard Beckinsdale Samantha isn't mentioned much, if at all ... yet she is the spitting image of him!!! Richard lives on in her, as far as I'm concerned :) :) :)
Samantha looks exactly like him. Kate is stunning but she looks different but if you got a wig like her father's hairstyle in the 70s and put in on Samantha, you would think you're looking at a girly version of Richard!
As others have said it's a shame Sam Beckinsale doesn't get mentioned very often when her father Richard is discussed. She is his double. She also isn't even mentioned on his memorial plaque, very strange and sad.
R.I.P. Al Hunter Ashton, who'd been Pitbull in London's Burning and quite a damn good playwright by all accounts. Taken far too early at the age of 49 in April 2007. Regular contributions to Holby City, EastEnders but also wrote the television films "The Firm" & "Safe". Plays the screw Mr Eaton at the beginning talking with Kenny.....
Samantha is her father's double, she sounds like him as well. It's a shame she is never mentioned when there are programmes about Richard, but only Kate gets acknowledged. Haven't seen Samantha Beckinsale in anything for years.
Probably ended up in Doctors lots older actors Seem to end up in that show she could have easily been in shows like Emmerdale, Know she was in Coronation street In the 90s in few episodes
Poor Kenny. I understand why he wants to give up a life of crime. Can't blame him really. His family is so selfish and pompous Mr. Treadwell and his family and other characters weren't taking him seriously.
i`m not sure what to make of this show, even if i did watch it when it was first on television, apart from brian conley being it, it`s worth watch just because the lovely samantha beckinsale is in it, its a shame that that her sister kate didn`t turn up as a guest star, now that would be a episode worth watching.
This is being repeated on rewind tv right now channel 95 in England. Not really a classic. But better than most itv shitcoms of that time plus it was written by the same two writers as the piglet files.
She certainly inherited her dad’s looks, but not his acting ability, sadly. I have fond memories of her in London’s Burning, but she’s as wooden as hell here.
I fancied her when I was a 6 years old in londons burning little did I know I'd be now attracted to older women I'm 35 and I think 40 to 50 year old women are sexy

she absolutely is. It's rather nice and a little sad of course
I was in the audience when this was recorded for all the series It was lovely to meet all the cast and Brian is wonderful a true star even now
when you see Samantha you see her late father Richard I think he would have been proud to know both of his daughters were both actresses.

Samantha looks so much like her father.
Great Actresses both of them🌠🌠
She is the absolute double of her Dad!
Indeed!
Robbie's Hairdo is a crime in its self 🤯
Loved this series and remember Brian singing the theme tune!
The bloke who plays the arrogant probation officer Treadwell, has been a priest in the Christmas episode of Father Ted...
When the laugh track machine operator was getting paid by the laugh :)
The canned laughter is so 80s.

Remember him well on TV 📺 He was in loads of UK TV shows 80s 90s
He was in Inspector Motse
My Probation Officer has no problem with me calling him Poppet.
Would be very grateful if you could find the rest of this series, Looking forward to them, Thank you .

Me neither and I agree with you. It's very strange tbh...

This comedy is a rarity.
Can You upload other episodes ?
Thanks in advance !

Wow. I didn't know Brian Conley's short lived sitcom was uploaded.
Daniel Williamson I think this show was actually relatively successful, it just had a finite story arc.
I haven't seen Time After Time in over 20 years.
Thanks, keep em coming
