Cottage Totem Poles and Sculpture Garden

At this beautiful cottage in Ontario Canada we carve a large center totem with a bear head, wolf head, eagle flying and a Owl flying. We also did a fox siting on a stump, a family of owls in a tree AND! a bird feeder with squirrels running up the tree. Beautiful weather and lots of gas for the saws made for a great carving adventure. Hop into the video and watch our art come to life.

Very Impressive.
I’m struggling with how to start on wrapping a piece around a smaller tree, versus it’s natural shape from a larger tree, and the chasing owl is Awesome, but of course the project as a whole is Amazing.
Do you have a round about on the time frame from when you two first showed up and started the unpacking? And do you really need to draw these pieces up, or do you have the groove which you just go with the flow, bcuz you’ve done so many?

Thanks so much, we really appreciate the feedback. no problem, love getting questions. I think we were on site about 3.5 days start to finish. No drawings on this job. the client gave us free rein to do whatever we wanted animal theme. They gave us a budget and said give us what you can for the budget. So basically we just went with our imagination and had fun with it.
