(Deltarune, as of the release of this video, is not a complete game. Toby Fox admitted that the first chapter is only a demo. I thus cannot make a full Deltarune the Musical, but what I CAN do is release individual songs that aren't connected like a musical!)

@@Stolen_Toast no, we are. It's pretty clear in Toby Fox's games that the player is an important character separate from the protagonist. You don't play as Kris, you play as the soul that possessed them.
While Ralsei’s tone is reassuring, his interest in restoring the Darkner Kingdom seems to override Kris’s concern of having free will. For the most part.
Ralsei has an agenda… but his friendliness doesn’t seem like a _complete_ facade.
that's what creeps me out about Ralsei, he's obviously the fishiest character in all deltarune (besides maybe Noelle's mother who hasn't appeared yet but I can already smell the fish) and yet I'm 99,99% certain he's not lying to us or Kris, he's "just" keeping some vital information like with the titans or something even more important. I mean, he obviously knows about the player's existence. The only character I can trust in this story is Susie, who somehow can resist the player's meddling and she's not even aware of that
@@notanymore166 Plus, he's clearly trying to actually help Kris escape us, as we see in chapter 2
kinda makes me feel cruel for continuing to play the game, but if we don't, the alternative is much worse

I had a thought about Ralsei's relationship with Kris.
A lot of dialogue options (Particularly in chapter 2, as well as the Ralsei Tea item healing a low amount of HP compared to the Noel Tea or the Susie Tea) and the resulting responses initially give one the impression that Kris dislikes Ralsei, or is at least not as fond of him as much as Kris's other friends. And yet, Ralsei clearly has some meta knowledge of the game world. And he seem to know when the player's point of view is not on Kris, because when the game's point of view returns to Kris, He is clearly making out some sort of plan with Kris only to suddenly stop the conversation.
Kris isn't giving bad responses because they dislike Ralsei, they are giving bad responses because *Kris does not want us to find out what Ralsei is planning.*
This area definitely inspired a few parts of Mario Wonder
