A very good video Darren, I really enjoyed it. Your Maxi 38 looks very well sorted and 'ship shape. The commentary was brief and precise. A good promotion for Maxi's and an experience skipper - Well done!
Very enjoyable. I did the trip to Padstow from Lundy Island before going on to St Ives and then round Land's End in April this year. Wonderful experience. I needed to hove to for a few hours and wait for the tide to be right before the final pilotage down the Camel at about 03:00 in darkness. And you are totally right when you advise to go by the buoys rather than the chartplotter. The line on my plotter looks like I have gone to the wrong side of the Starboard buoy by a distance, whereas I had not. Padstow is a lovely friendly harbour and much easier than people think as long as you do your homework on pilotage and timing etc. Cheers.
Thank you, great to see the passage from Milford Haven and your commentary
