Great review, Lotz. It's a shame the OG Battlefront duology wasn't on sale during this year's May 4th sale. By the way, I remember you saying you're running out of Star Wars Games to review, how about Star Wars: Obi-Wan for the OG Xbox? That game is pretty obscure, but it seems like the spiritual predicessor to The Force Unleashed games and even the EA Jedi games. It's only a matter of time until you have to review something like Yoda Stories. LOL!
Bespin platforms is a really great map that can turn into a huge struggle for that center command post and bridge. The counter to the Droideka is the clone with the emp launcher (or something) but he has really limited ammo and to break their shields can take two direct hits and then also firing on them without their shields.
Great review, General Lotz! Regarding the Droidekas and Jet Trooper comments (that the Droidekas have no counter and the Jet Troopers' primary weapon is terrible), the Jet Troopers EMP launcher is specifically to counter the Droidekas. Stinks that it doesn't have AOE, but I think it's primary purpose is just to get Droideka shields down. (Totally agree though: Droidekas a BROKEN in that game; but was definitely made the Clone Wars battles feel different than the Galactic Civil War ones. And yeah...the Jet Troopers were underwhelming lol.)
Salute General! Sorry I'm late I'm not feeling well today. Pandemic studios you say?! That studio sounds familiar to me for some reason but i can't quite put my finger on why lol. -Medic out but on standby!
For some reason with my friend back in 2004 we always preferred a bit more BF1 rather than BF2 mostly due to the fact that you have the cockpit view in the vehicle and the combat was a little slower and "Star Warsish" like for example as stupid as it is, we didn't like some of the guns or turrets in BF2 shooting like a WW2 aircraft that felt odd. Don't get me wrong, we loved BF2 too, but BF2 was a bit too much arcadish, and we often came back to BF1. Damn if I miss that time period for gaming.
@@ColonelNegative its not finished yet but its almost at the stage where I could release a test build. First map is complete. Its a metal gear solid 2 themed mod where you play as the navy seals and gurlukovich mercenaries. It has blood/customvoice lines/custom commander voice lines/ bullet based guns and honestly after so much playtesting I think its genuinely fun, so do my friends

Epic.
This game looks awesome for 2004. What a great year for gaming indeed
Another glorious entertaining review General.
