    With Stu working away join me, as I take a small trek up the rolling sand dunes on the East Norfolk coast to spend a windy and slightly wet night getting invaded by Ants! Thanks for watching 😊

    Although not fit a reasonable approach in I'd say. You just keep away really - I know confidence dips. It does in us all but for us who are infused with nature it calls us back out eventually. Good going. Mark

    Us Urban Explorers have the same code. Take nothing, leave nothing but footprints and do no damage. Good advice you have for everyone. Too many people are being disrespectful to the environment and, you are right, the repercussions from it will affect the whole community. Good video!

    Great video Em! Well done. I'm from North Lincolnshire and a life time camper. I was down there about four weeks ago, in fact I camped in the same spot as one of your previous videos. I couldn't find a better place!
    I bought myself an OEX Phoxx 2 v.2 as a more stealthy option than my Vango Tempest pro 300. I was very impressed with the quality and improvements made, and such a low cost.
    I really enjoy your videos. They are so inspiring. Thank you.

      Hi Phillip, we've looked alot at the OEX tents this year and can't really fault them, the phoxx is a great all rounder.. Norfolk is a lovely place to wild camp with lots of good spots. It's really nice to hear that our videos inspire people to get out and do it themselves. Glad u liked the video thanks for watching 😊👍

    The new mic did a great job, as did you, you have my respect for going out on your own and good to see you picked an out of the way, sensible spot, even though you had to share it with ants. Such a shame you did not get the morning sunrise you deserved and sods law if it had been sunny further down the coast. Good on you for leaving no trace and good on you for doing a great video and a great camp, cheers Alan

      Thanks Alan, yes it was a real shame about the sun.. I've been waiting 5 months to watch a sunrise from the beach! 😔 oh well maybe in a couple of weeks time when me and Stu go camping together we'll have more luck. Thanks for all your nice comments I really appreciate them 😊👍

    Great video Em and you was very clear to hear. Many years ago with my walking group in London we had a weekend camping trip on the North Norfolk coast. We used drift wood as campfires. Was so quite but for us 😁. Hope you didn't take too many ants home with you. Thanks for the video x

    Looks like you had a great camp. Looked like a brilliant location you chose. I know what you mean about some of the "bad" wild campers... In a recent local walk, we came across a tent in the middle of nowhere next to some ruins we set out to find. It was obvious something was inside the tent, but there was no response to us calling. There was also a terrible smell.. eventually had to open it up and have a look. Thankful to say it was just rubbish and camping gear that had been left...

    • @ExploringWithEmAndStu
      @ExploringWithEmAndStu  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really cant understand why people think it's ok to just leave all that rubbish for someone else to have to clean up! It really makes my blood boil.. It was quite a nice camp but looking forward to getting back out with Stu 😊

    Hi em. nice little solo camp well done.
    The ants are a pain (wife on ant alert in our
    Little garden.) love the tent. Yes looks similar to
    Our Z1. I normally W/C with the older 2 sons
    And get sick to the teeth picking other peoples
    Crap up. We will get restrictions put on us
    You can see it coming. You stay safe. And
    (hello stu) old dave

    • @ExploringWithEmAndStu
      @ExploringWithEmAndStu  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Dave, yes it's like i said hopefully all these Fly Campers will get bored soon and leave us respectful campers to it. I loved my Zephyros but unfortunately it just got too old and didn't hold out the rain anymore but I was very happy with my new terra nova. Thanks for watching as always, hope you're keeping well 😊

    Hi Em how many ants did you take back home in your rucksack with you? Absolutely correct with your summing up at the end - so much so I brought a litter picker for whenever I’m out exploring. The amount of litter I collected the other day was unreal. Shame about the sunset - you can never rely on the good old English weather haha. Hope to see you two back together soon 😊

    Great video as always em. Huge respect to you for solo camping. It's the age old story that a small minority ruin things for everyone. And the amount of rubbish that is everywhere now lock down measures have eased it rediculous. Makes my blood boil. It takes two minutes to tidy everything up. And it there are no rubbish bins. Take your rubbish home and put it in the bin. It's not rocket science is it. Keep up the good work. Look forward to the next adventure.

    • @ExploringWithEmAndStu

      Thanks David, yes you're right it really makes no sense why people leave such a mess after enjoying these beautiful places, we always make a point of going around the area to pick up any other rubbish we might find to help keep the place nice. Thanks for watching and commenting really appreciate it 😊👍

    Hi, looks beautiful. Can you recommend apots for wild camping? Even just an area? Ive been to horsey gap for a walk, but i wouldnt know where to park

    • @ExploringWithEmAndStu
      @ExploringWithEmAndStu  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We often have to walk at least a couple of miles from where we've parked to find the quiet spots, like u say not much 24hr parking at Horsey but maybe try the villages down the coast and walk north, plenty of parking there if you don't mind a walk.. 👍
