While I agree entirely, I am compelled to add. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, why was Minthara, and a lot of the companions for that matter, only half written out? Why is it so very, very clear how much didn't get done due to all those late development rewrites? Ahhhhh! Still a good game despite that, just wish Hasbro had let them make the Starjammer game where consequences actually existed that the dev team ao very clearly wanted to make. Instead things got dulled down for mass appeal due to focus groups, as is corporate tradition. Down By The River is an artifact of a time when the story HURT in a good way. If only that could have been played out, yeah? If only we could have seen that. Here's to hoping the modding tools work out, yeah?
