- Hey guys, as promised, here's a full detailed 1 year Ownership review of my Suzuki Swift. The car has done 18 000km in a year, and it's been absolutely flawless.

Low maintenance costs as well
There's a space under the floor for the emergency triangle in the Ignis, should be in the Swift too. Under the floor there's like two things on either side that hold it in place once the floor is down. It sits just right of the spare wheel.

I own a 2019 GA version, I bought it on July 2021 pay R2890(because of the low price I got it at before it got famous, plus balloon Due to circumstances at the time of buying the car), the Cash price came to about R164K including delivery and licensing. Insurance via Hollard insurance(Got it via a car insurence broker) Is R1540 with no Basic excess. Full Tank on a Huge petrol increase Doesn't even reach ZAR 900. The key to owning the car is having a reputable RMI approved mechanic who can do all repair work on it once the service plan is done, and it will save you Thousands of rands.

Get your car checked out mate that's too high especially for a swift bro. My 2006 polo facelift did better figures than that and ain't no way polo will be more efficient than a swift.

I've honestly never experienced any Mazda product, so I can't really say, but the Swift really is good...the Mazda seems like a more premium car I guess? At least from afar...

Yes you can, but only the driver side, mine is in its lowest position…
I've heard many people complain about the rattling of the swift.
Would you say it is major factor..like does it bother you alot?
Nah, not at all, a lot of cars do have rattles, even stuff like Mercedes…
Doesn't the screen bother you at night when driving or is there a dark mode?
When you turn on the lights it darkens, if you’re connected to Apple CarPlay the apps switch from white to black theme…

I am in a process of buying this car and it's my first car, been doing my lessons but a bit confused, cause I drove an old Kia picanto and it moved without an accelerator boost,but when I drove old Tata Indica it needed an accelerator.
So I just wanted to know with Suzuki Swift GL manual, do you need to balance with accelerator?
Not really, only if you’re doing a hill start

You simply don't have the GLX ausi...bao ropile😂 you probably have the GA or GL, did the car come with a touchscreen infotainment system? Your answer is very key at this point...
@@Moola93 lol it is GLX, yes has touch screen system, I have to press the button to fold the mirrors, they don’t just fold on its own when I turn off
@@embakubmotoring you have to press, they don’t fold on its own. This other one folds on its own when he switches the far off lol so I saw a video showing how to activate the thing so when you turn off and lock it just automatically folds

Are you sure the service cost is R1400? Suzuki told me it's R3500 per service.
Mine was quoted R1400 for all the stuff that was done…
It depends on which service interval,prices are different and I'm pretty sure dealer prices vary as well. After every 45000km the service will be the most costly.

It's alot hey, with that money it's the amount that can be paid for Suzuki Baleno. But I think it's high because of the increase of interest rates, maybe that's the reason

When I bought this the Baleno facelift wasn’t yet available, but yeah the Baleno is also a good choice the GLX of that is about R270k and has a lot more features like headsup display, LED headlights, and cruise control…
