Holy cow Troy, crazy to see how your videos have changed in the past year since grad. keep up the good work and keep inspiring the new students the same you inspired me!
Thanks Kyle - kind of you to say. My early videos are a bit cringeworthy when I look at them these days. lol But hey, that's the learning process, right?
Thanks for taking time and doing this videos I have learn a lot with you. This video is a really good one amazing advices. Hope your channel grow a lot 😀
Insightful and informative video as always Troy, thank you for sharing. You hit the nail on the head with these 5 points! "Learn how YOU learn" is a topic I feel people, especially in IT, should consider paying attention to. It truly is something that can make or break your energy and drive. I can't stress how many times I've lost motivation when studying for a certification because the video series didn't engage me or the technical documentation was extremely dry and boring to read. Pivoting my study approach to attempting practice exams and researching why questions were right or wrong was a game changer. It helped in providing clarity for areas I needed to focus in while making me feel comfortable in others. Technology is changing so rapidly every day so don't be so hard on yourself. It's not easy. Just keep focusing on that light on the end of the tunnel. It's like you said, it's a marathon, not a race!
Great insight, Hussan. Learning how to learn is an acquired skill - we definitely can get better at it with practice. When trying to learn a new IT skill or concept or trying to prepare for a cert, often we have so many other competing priorities that demand our time that it becomes all that more important to get the most out of the time we DO have for study. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you for the tips, as well as the videos.
Thank you for this valuable tips , as a learner it really helps.
