In 1972 I bought an XK140 FHC for £125 at Blackpool airport. Needed some tidying up. Took the rest of the day off work, reset the carbs, put some juice in it & drove it around, showed the ton on M6. Went back to my digs & gave it a good wash, ran it around to a customer of mine & sold it for £250 plus a lift back to the airport to collect my company basic Escort 1100. What a come down!
My favorite car. 5 speed, 12 cylinder, 10/10 looks. My O My.
