End music "Charlie's Song" written and produced for me by Sera, of Portiko. All other music is produced via AI on Suno
That’s really pretty Tracey, you could put that beautiful delicate piece in a tray mold, as the design element. Thank you Tracey x❤
Great idea! Tomorrow the video comes out on what I actually did with it, but I'll make a note of your suggestion, I love it
Ohh that’s lovely. Very interesting outcome. Looks like antique metal.
Yes, I think I got the look I was after, antique was the aim :)
That was indeed very intricate and beautiful! You totally conquered it! This piece reminded me of the beautiful jade sculptures I see in my local Asian restaurants.
Thank you so much Michelle - ah yes I see what you mean. I should probably try to do a jade effect one, good thought! Tomorrow I have an extra video out that is a kind of follow up - I had an idea of what to do with it
@@miniscenesgb I'm excited to see it!
Lovely mold , and love how you made such delicate and gorgeous piece out of it, Ms Tracey 💜😃
Thanks so much Sudha 😊
Gorgeous and exceptional idea.
Thank you! 😊
That turned out really pretty!
Thanks :) Look out for the follow up video, same time tomorrow. I found something to do with it :)
I love this technique…and this is very stunning!!!!!
Thanks :) I've not tried to get an antique effect with chameleon powders before, I was quite surprised how well it worked
That’s really cool the way the colors sank. Gorgeous. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much 😊
That is seriously cool! What a lovely method.
Would you believe, here in New Zealand, you need a special license for 99% isopropyl? I kid you not. But… my lovely nail technician said she would let me have a little bit. She’s a gem 💎
Had my nails done with Aurora yesterday, a lovely mauve/purple shade. They look fabulous. It reminds me of your tutorial 😊😘
Blimey, and I just get to buy big bottles from Amazon in the UK. You can get lower % alcohol that would work too though I think the higher the % the better as resin doesn't like water. Glad your nail tek was able to help
That is STUNNING!❤ It came out so well I absolutely love it!xx
Thank you so much!! Look out for the video tomorrow which is kinda part 2, where I find a use for it
@@miniscenesgb looking forward it!❤️
Wow just wow the colours are amazing
They really are. I've not tried this antique effect with them before
Well, definitely, you should do this more often it's just amazing. Look incredible. Thanks for replaying many hugs from Kangaroo Land 😊 and Koalas Australia
@@daniela23au Thanks! I plan to. Hugs to your Kangas and Koalas :)
It came out gorgeous!!❤
Thanks :)
WOW 😮😮😮😮 GORGEOUS ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Tammy
That's a really pretty effect!
Thanks Ada
Love the look ❤❤
Thanks :)
That's absolutely stunning 😊
Thank you! 😊
@@miniscenesgb You're very welcome 😊
Very pretty piece❤❤❤❤
Thanks @BoredWifesProductions, I am so glad you liked it. It was a fun one to make
It’s beautiful! 💕
Thank you! 😊
❤ Gorgeous
Thanks ;)
That turned out stunning!!! Question, did you let the alcohol dry before you poured the resin?
Good question, yes I did - ish. I didn;t really think about it but yes I think it was mostly dry
@@miniscenesgb thanks…
Very pretty Tracey, I love the mould. I use mica's as paint, with Isoprol, will be using my chamelon powders too now. Thanks for sharing 😊❤
You are so welcome
❤
Glad you like it :)
What a fantastic video! There are few videos that I find to really help my techniques. This is definitely one! Many, many thanks.
I'm so glad :) Thanks for watching
Gee Tracey that turned out gorgeous. Well done
Thanks Kym The video on what I did with it in the end will be out this evening too
Oh my gosh! Tracey, that turned out absolutely beautiful!❤❤❤
Thanks Molly
I love the effect, beautiful!!! ❤
Thank you @resincreations! I'm so glad you like this one
Absolutely gorgeous ❣️
I wished you would have put it closer to the camera so we could see the entire thing up close...
I couldn't see the bottom until you put it down and zoomed out before you ended the video...
Noted, it's tricky filming top down but if I do similar again I'll get a second camera on the go and try to get in closer. Thanks for the feedback
@@miniscenesgb
You are so welcome 🙏
Absolutely Gorgeous ❤️
Hi Tracey this turned out so beautiful 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Glad you like it Michelle. Part 2 goes oout tonight
Awesome,Tracey. I did have my doubts, though 😂😂
So did I. I was rather surprised it worked
That is gorgeous, love the colours, especially with the black on the back. I expect it'd be too fragile, but I'd love that as a brooch!! Thank you for sharing it with us, and the great tips too. ❤❤
You're welcome. Tomorrow's video is a follow up - it was bugging me what to do with it then I had an inspiration from Glitz N Glitter to look out for tomorrow's vid ;)
I like that alcohol/powder technique on this piece! Better than just brushing it on. I like the antique look. Thank you for showing us this method. 💕
You are so welcome! A little trick I learned and adapted from Toonpish Crafts
Those ethereal powders ❤ are just to die for ❤❤❤ gorgeous little cute piece 🥰
They really are. I love them
Looks very impressive! Thanks for sharing your ideas,
Glad you like it :)
It's best to just dip your brush into the alcohol then into the powder. Touch quicker and true colours 😊
if you want a solid colour yes, but not for the new technique and effect I was demoing here
Wow that’s a very pretty piece I think I need to go look for the mold lol.
Does the alcohol dissipate leaving a powder again after so it doesn’t go to waste if you mix too much?
Yes it does. I keep the pot so I can add alcohol again for next time. Link for the mould is in the video description :)
Thank you for sharing this fab tip. Love the finished product and can’t wait to see more of your work x
You are so welcome! Follow up video of what I did with it next out tomorrow
Great Video Tracey 👍🤩Looks amazing 😍
Thanks so much 😊
This piece is stunning I would frame it so it looked like a 3D picture
Thanks :) In the next video I show what I then did with it too
Gorgeous! Wow! That is very delicate. 😊❤
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! I just recieved a fiddly mold so will give this a try in it!
Have fun!
Excellent! Now I'll have to give it a go.
Go for it Tim!
❤ amazing and stunning, Tracey!!❤
Glad you like it!
Can’t wait to try this alcohol technique
Have fun!
That’s absolutely beautiful .
Thank you :)
That’s is gorgeous. Well done
Thank you :)
Omg that is beautiful
Thank you :)
Very pretty but very fragile
Yes, I was surprise it demoulded. Look out for part 2 tomorrow when I found a use for it
Wow! So delicate!
yes, I never imagined it would demould safely. Tomorrow;s video is what i decided to do with it :)
Beautiful mold
It really is! I was pleased to find it was usable too
Beautiful. ❤❤
Thanks @caroltweddle9247, I am so glad you liked it. It was a fun one to make
That came out absolutely gorgeous Tracy!❤❤❤
Thank you!
@@miniscenesgb you are more than welcome. 🤗
Pretty but fiddly! The alcohol trick is very neat, I've also been using it since I saw Wendy at Toonpish do it.
Yes, Wendy may have invented that technique, i think :) I'm getting the antique effect by watering the powders down even more. It sure is a neat trick
@@miniscenesgb In Sweden the isop.alcohol is really expensive so I tried a high alcohol handsanitizer for painting with mica. It's thicker and gives rather interesting effects thanks to that.
@@mizzuzie3338 interesting Mizz, Id be interested to try that
Nice, love it 🥰
Thanks :) Video out tonight on what I then did with it
I love this
Thanks :) part 2 out tomorrow - what I do with it next
Beautiful!
Thank you!
I looked for the description box to see where you can get the mold but, I didn't see it sorry maybe I am blind lol
It’s the third item on the list in the video description
@@miniscenesgb Thanks I see it for some reason I was looking in the wrong place
No probs :)
👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻❤
Glad you like it Laura
*ABSOLUTELY beautiful,* Tracey! ❤ I'm amazed the resin got into all those delicate reeds and leaves! 😲😍 CONGRATULATIONS on almost 10,000 subs! 💕😊👍
Wondering what a white background would do, using same technique? Maybe use polyurethane...see if it's stronger, or would be more fragile?
Thanks :) PU should be the same strength or less, dependent on brand. Yes you could use white or clear, I have a few videos on the difference if you back with other colours. it'd just be pale and delicate looking instead of antique
Cool technique, did you wait for the alcohol to evaporate or did you pour the resin immediately after finishing brushing the colors?
I waited till it evaporated, just about 3 minutes. it evaporates fast :)
@@miniscenesgb I actually have this mold and other similar to this one. Not used them yet.
@@editek5992 Nice, they are lovely moulds
@@miniscenesgb Yes they are. Have you seen the phoenix one?
@@editek5992 Yes I have the full set of Chameleon and Ethereal, both pigments and flakes :) I went a bit mad and got them all :)
This is so lovely, Tracy
I'm totally amazed that even the most fragile bits came out of that mold intact! Thanks for another great tutorial.
Thank you so much! Yes so was I Pauline. Follow up video of what I did with it next out tomorrow
You did this perfectly!!! Just gorgeous!!
Thank you so much Julia!!
That's gorgeous! Hi from another Worcestershire resin artist 🙂
Hello there! And thanks :)
WOW that turned our gorgeous !!
Thanks so much 😊 no nor me. I was amazed it worked with resin to be honest.
We’re was this mould bought from so lovely
The link for it is in the video description :)
This piece is absolutely gorgeous! ❤
Thank you so much! Tomorrow's video is what I do with it next
that is beautiful Tracey.🥀🌻💮
Thank you so much Gert!
So very beautiful! 😮😮😮
Thank you! 😊
Pretty mold,ms Tracey 💜😍,so delicate and tiny details in this one. But you made such lovely piece out of it,the colors look amazing 💜💜.Like you said, even I was afraid,if that grass like part would demold😅,but it came out perfect 😍😍
Thanks so much 😊 Yes I was surprised it didn't just snap off. It's a strong resin I guess. There'll be a video out tonight on what I then did with the piece :)
@@miniscenesgb will try to be there,Ms Tracey, bcoz of late night ,I am missing on premiers😪
@@resinartists bless you Sudha. It isn't going out as a premiere this time, so at your leisure :) I'm only doing live premiers on Saturdays mostly now
@@miniscenesgb 💜🙏
That is beautiful ❤
Thank you @tonipatterson8594! I'm so glad you like this one
Wow that is beautiful❤❤❤
Would be cool if you put it inside a clear tray.
Yes that's worth trying definitely
Oh that came out really nice ! Love the gold! Has to be one of the prettiest golds ive seen! The semi transparent pu-resin from speciality resin would have been perfect for this because its tintable but also because its super strong when cured so those thin bits may be a bit stronger but i love it you could do a lot with this! Great video as always much love 🤗❤
Thank you so much! I use Apex Resin or PU mostly:) Apex is very strong
@@miniscenesgb well I'm in the states so it's a lot more cost effective for me to use the speciality resin pro pu resins plus it's the only clear or tintabls pu resin offered on Amazon here but I have been very curious about the apex because sooooo many people talk about how fantastic it is!
@@cwv-artistry ah yes. Apex doesn't currently have a clear PU though I know they are working on it. for PU I currently use Polycraft. Clear PU is not easy to find over here either
@@miniscenesgb idk if it's any cheaper than what you are using currently but specialty resin pro does offer a semi transparent pu-resin on Amazon here and online plus I have a link in my last 2 videos to them because they set me up as an affiliate after I released the video using it. So it may save you money idk they do it a bit differently than other companies I'm affiliated with so I'm not sure yet what the discount is or how much you'll save using the link if anything at all.. it really is different than anything else I've dealt with in the past but I also know it's great stuff it's extremely hard in 15 mins like a rock super strong especially considering I used it for building a shelf with.. and I have been rough with this shelf just to see if I could damage it and it has held up the Casey test so far! And that says a lot cuz when I do a strength test I am very rough with things..
@@cwv-artistry I use Polycraft which is completely transparent and it seems very good but I will check that out, thank you
LOVE the subtle black country accent.
Lol it's Worcestershire
@@miniscenesgb I did say subtle ;-)
@@simon9264 lol my black country friends will be killing themselves laughing :)
I'm very slightly brummy as I am on that edge of Worcestershire
