I love this interview. I hope they do more for other BL actors in the future. What Zihong has said here are all the very same things he had said before in other interviews and lives. I was wondering if it has changed but it seems like it hasn’t. And I’m so glad that now I understand better what he meant when he said that “if there’s no Zhou Shuyi there would be no Gao Shide.” I had always wondered why he kept saying that before, now that he explains it, I can see his point of view. SamYu is really special, it seems like to Zihong, the feeling and the experience of doing WBL has not changed at all. I’m a SamYu fan, and I don’t want to assume what their current relationship is but I hope they are happy individually and/or together ❤

Their connection was such that they didn’t need words to understand each other’s thoughts and feelings. They brought their real life relationship to their roles so didn’t need to “act” to bring their characters to life.
WBL is Forever No. 1 for me. I love SAMYU and their chemistry so much! I never felt the emotions I felt when watching it with other BL dramas again. Still waiting for another SAMYU drama in the future, please give it to us! 🙏🏻🤞🏻💙

The “magical” experience creating WBL taught him how to actively love someone by being considerate to the other person. WBL has changed him for the better, making him a softer, more empathetic person in real life.

This was an insightful and enjoyable interview, thank you. I'm glad for the quality of the questions and the sincerity of the three actors. It is important as a viewer to have the confirmation that the closeness is not all fake. We do feel it when they infuse a character with genuine emotions. It is often said that BL dramas only have a niche and limited audience, but in fact they reach across cultural and language barriers, to many types of fans from all over the world ( I'm French so Bonjour, et merci ! ) . I am accustomed to listening to shows in their original language . I can only pick up a few Chinese words, but it's a soft pleasant language to listen to.

為什麼邱宇辰不配？因為他托托台灣民主制度之福，靠拍了一部優秀的BL劇出圈。但是成名之後卻立刻為了去中國發展，公開主張台灣跟中國的專制政體統一。吃了民主的紅利卻為了個人利益出賣民主制度。要知道BL劇在中國是不能播的。他去中國並不是為了推廣BL劇或創作自由，而是為了自己個人利益的最大化。這種沒有骨氣良知，背刺培養自己的藝術環境的人，配嗎？
