Any free or affordable daw or plugin options you guys would recommend for achieving those sounds without really sacrificing flexibility [as in with the use of other elements within a daw or a given mix]?
@@TheNostalgiaJunkie having worked with a bunch of chiptune plugins on FL studio, I still think Famitracker is the best option as a DAW. It can be a bit awkward to use for a while, but it's by far the most flexible. Though I don't do this myself, you can export individual channels if you want to do some post mastering in FL studio.

I can really appreciate the Liyue battle theme and the Liyue music in general. Though we all know modern day China is bad, its culture is often quite overlooked, especially in gaming. It's nice to have a soundtrack that represents its original inspiration well. Great cover btw! Would love to see more music from this game in this style.
They had to make the china region perfect cause chinese people are so nationalistic. Like they did a massive boycott cause Zhongli, the god representing china, was a support.
@@stereotypicalweaboo lol idk about the chinese community but many complained about Zhongli cuz his damage modifier and energy recharge was SO painful, not because he is a support. Nobody's complaining now after the buff and it doesn't make him any less of a support.
I like the fact that Liyue looks like a direct opposite of the modern day China. You get sunny landscapes and a general theme of wealth and glamor as opposed to the polluted air and an attempt at communism.
