the ballet teacher is literally my pointe teacher lmao. she’s 65, wears cardigans,makeup under her mask, dose t wear heals but never wears ballet shoes and always healed jazz shoes. she always talks about her daughters company, justines, like we’re all automatically supposed to know what it is.

The first one is definitely my teacher/owner of studio. Except it's a bit different because she like 86 so she kind of has to just say what is and do things slowly. I love her though cause I've known her for 10 years
I have definitely had that jazz teacher. I never took a Jazz class after that and I’m sticking with Classical ballet 🤣

My ballet teacher just turned 25, she wears regular active clothes to class, and she wears fuzzy socks to teach ballet lol, shes still kindaaa mean..
Yeah I had one like that, she told me "your such a bad dancer no one will ever want to watch you dance!" When i was in 4th grade.

Mine wears the studio merchandise and sweatpants or leggings, always has her hair in a low ponytail, and wears this type of ballet show that’s all beat up looking and like the elast if is super loose

These are so accurate oh my goodness
ah you forgot about the part where the trendy hip hop teacher gives up on counts and ends up counting in “boom-ka-ka, ba-da-boom-ba step-turn-ka-ka, loooooow-2-3-4, tick-boom-ka-HIT IT!” (or with some other unintelligible ✨ musicality words ✨), leading right up into the energetic YEEAAHHHHH at the end of the group combo / solo where they throw Air Jordan’s of approval into the centre (yes we understood it!)

I don't do dance, I do rhythmic but some of these teachers are very similar (because I did take a few dance classes too) but there's always that one really strict like Russian teacher who literally kills you in class, always doing really intense jumping and she probably has like really short hair. They just push you to your extremes but it does benefit you

I have two main teachers at my studio the old dancer in his 30s who wears tennis shoes and sweat pants for every class and the teacher that fits every stereotype depending on the minute

THE JAZZ TEACHER THO... THAT IS PERFECT! I LITERALLY HAD JAZZ TODAY AND MY TEACHER LITERALLY WANTED US TO HOLD OUR LEG NEXT TO OUR HEAD AND DO A TURN WITHOUT A "PUSH" IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE NO ONE COULD DO IT!

I had that Ballet teacher and the funny thing is I had one of them in Russia and when I moved to France I had the exact same one but with another color of hair 😄
In Russia, she had heels and was dressed like an member of the English Royal family, had a wooden stick to correct legs positions whitout bending her back,
She always had red lipstick even at 7.am, always makup perfectly done, hair sooo well done, she was in her mid 50s and she was the most elegant lady I ever met.
She would say to us, young girls as we were, when she heard us talking about parties and boys, "Love will be distracting you from Dance.
My husband is Ballet, young ladies" and "there is no best ballet dancer as a virgin girl, when you lose that, you lose something in your body and *everybody* can see it" and she KNEW it when one of the girl were not virgin anymore.
She also could spot on us a 200 grammes weight gain.
This is not my only teacher but she is really my most iconic teacher, and her results were stunning, she could transform in 1 year an average girl dancer in a very very good dancer.
Many of her young young girls were accepted to the Bolshoi's school or in the National School of St.Petersburg, which in Russia are very prestigious schools, like the Opera Garnier in Paris.
Parents also loved her, even if she was rough with us, because they knew it was for our good...
I really miss her very much.
But it happened that I found quite the same in a National School too but in France, just she has no wooden stick and her hair are ginger than black.
🤗 I wonder if these teachers are made from one unique mold, because like I see in this video and in the comments, you all have the same too in America and UK 😅
