  • Gilbert Arenas and the Gil's Arena crew break down Bronny James' chances to get drafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. After the NBA lottery occurred last night, Gil, Kenyon Martin, and Sheryl Swoopes all have different takes on why Bronny James wants to join the league. Kenyon thinks he should stay in College at USC, while Gilbert thinks this might be his best chance to get drafted into the NBA to play with LeBron on the Lakers.
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

You can't say remove his father from it and then say he has a chance to get drafted late 1st or 2nd round. He's only in position to do that because of his father. There were guys who were better than Bronny in high school and college that went undrafted. Certainly that didn't get drafted 1st round.

Kyrie was #1 after having played only 11 games in college…. Bronny is projected to be a 2nd round pick… Based on his potential talent, thats fair…. With his father’s influence, he’s getting late 1st round looks…

Take his dad's last name away and he would not get drafted based on his year in college. No hate just facts

He didn't shoot well in college, decent athleticism but would never smell the draft without his dad.If you have a late pick why not hoping you snag his dad.

All he need is the right team, nobody need to look at him in comparison to his dad. All he got to come in and be a consistent true point and defender, he will spend 10-12 years doing that cause its needed in the gane now. Folks just being weird about it

His daddy been selfish all these years pushing the idea he wants to play with his son. He should’ve wanted what was best for his son which at this point is playing more college basketball

@@NayB13 if he hadnt forced him take that poisonous covid shot he might be good enough by now. Wanting to pro ball play with your son when he isn’t good for you kid. A dad is supposed to want his son to be his own man, not pressure him to help his dad accomplish his own dreams

I mean, second half of the second round you really arent expecting much. You're a non lottery team, so you should have depth at least, whats the harm in drafting a kid from some of the best stock ever? Is he good right now? Hell no. But could he be a starter/eventual all star in 4 or 5 years, with the slimmest of possibility at an all nba team eventually? Maybe, just maybe.
