इसका एक और disadvantage है और वो ये है कि जिप्सम बोर्ड की तरह से VOX में फाल्स सीलिंग को किसी भी डिजाइन में नहीं बनाया जा सकता है; अर्थात जिप्सम बोर्ड में बेहिसाब डिजाइन बनाई जा सकती हैं जबकि VOX में ऐसा संभव नहीं है।
