Still not sure how to get that perfect design for your church bulletin? Here's one idea I came up with for ours and we love it! I decided to share how it was designed with you. Hopefully, it's a blessing and I would love to see what creations you make using this as your inspiration.
This doesn't have to be limited to church bulletins. This tutorial can be used for any bi-fold projects such as menus, flyers (fliers), brochures, postcards, tracts, or any other kind of print layout project.

I am Jonathan Wells and I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years. I have expert knowledge in Adobe apps but Canva is quickly becoming my go-to for quick designs.

How do you the guides I’m not getting that part
@@dominiquestone583 for the guidelines? Go to file settings and rulers and it will show the ruler and use them to set your guides. How this help
Why did you put the background in white and black also? Is it to create a richer look for the one with the picture on top?
It was just my design choice to control the flow of color.

Nice job on the video! Does Canva have tab stops? Our bulletin currently relies on tab stops for lining up some text (especially in the worship order section). Really need custom tab stops...

Thanks. Canva doesn’t have tab stops. But for what we use it for, it makes up for what it lacks.
@@digthegames Yeah it’s great. I’m hoping they add tab stops since they’re introducing the docs feature. I’m holding out hope at least! lol

Where do I find the guide for the center?
Go to File / View Settings / Show Rulers and Guides. Then you can drag from the ruler and create custom guides.
