Sim is a great inspiration. I just graduated from Law School, but I am transitioning into Software Engineering in FinTech. Sim's story is a testament to the possibility of a successful career switch.
I accidentally stumbled across this video and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Sim for giving us a peek into your personal and professional life. Salute!
This is great content it not everyday the media actually interviews successful black people The media generally highlights the corrupted ones yet there's so many who are actually good role models for other South Africans
Goodness me! His intelligence is on another level! I'm so inspired. When he mentioned KwaHlabisa, I just had goosebumps all over my body. We can do this.
Always followed and been impressed by Sims career but that he speaks of natural law and casually mentions Aquinas’s Summa Theologica and Contra Gentiles just 🤯 my respect tripled.
What a surprise, Mshengu: you were born KwaHlabisa 🎉 You don't have a financial educational background😮 Thanks for always availing yourself in many platforms 🎉🎉
Thank you Daily Investor for interviewing such a great Leader I personally look upto in our society. Nelson Madela was once asked that what kept him going during the dark days in prison and he said the following " I had a opportunity to read wildly especially biographies of people who come from humble beginnings to become very respected man/women is society because of thier contributions to humanity" Mr Sim Tshabalala and the entire Standard Bank Exco you have played a very significant role to humanity in Africa by creating and facilitating business and jobs opportunities for your clients and employees.. Regards Xolani Freddy Mazibuko 🙏🏿
Think it's my first time hearing Mshengu speak.... Seems like someone who enjoys chilling and telling a story... Enjoyed this but I disagree on his sentiments about cash. Digital payments make banks richer....removes the obligation to uplift societies by creating much needed jobs and just becomes an endless source of free money

Fully agreed! I just learned that we have a couple of black dollar billionaires in SA whose success stories the media is not exposing.

Great respect, always a pleasure to listen to people who read. They can draw from different subject with so much ease

I wouldn't necessarily refer to going to a high school that costs more than a 100 thousand rand a typical South African story.
