Lysi....you are a blessing to each one of those 3 year olds, I am sure. Their little brains are like sponges and they see and hear everything. So just make sure to always keep that in mind. This was a really nice song. It definitely makes you stop and count your blessings and God knows He gives me way more than I deserve.
Ok guys, a little history on Luke Bryan, the little that I know. He’s a good ole country boy from Georgia and lives on a huge farm there now. He hasn’t strayed far from his roots. He and his wife Caroline are both pranksters. You should hear some of the things he’s pulled at the end of tour with some of the acts with him. His mom is something else too. Luke lost a brother in a car accident when he was a teenager. He has a beautiful song that I love dedicated to him, Drink A Beer. He had an older sister as well. Years later, he lost this sister who was married with kids. She died suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep one night of natural causes. Then, a couple, or a few years after that, Luke’s brother in law, his sister’s widower, died unexpectedly also, and also of natural causes. I think it was a heart attack. Luke and Caroline have two boys and when his brother in law died, they took his sister’s orphaned kids in and raised them as their own. His niece was just married a year or two ago and Luke gave her away and paid of course for her beautiful wedding. I saw pics posted where they left two chairs at the front draped in flowers for her parents, who I’m sure they felt were there in spirit. Luke named his farm (I think!) Red Bird Farm in remembrance of the ones he lost. Don’t know if you’ve ever heard it, but in the south we all grow up being told that when you see a red bird, it’s a reminder from God of a loved one who is gone. So you could say Luke’s taken some hard knocks but from all I’ve seen he’s a great guy. He always takes newer artists that are on tour with him under his wing. I’ve heard Morgan Wallen talk about being pranked by him and Luke talking about Morgan calling him for financial advice. Also, Chayce Beckham won American Idol a couple years ago and he’s from California. Luke and he are great friends now and he always makes sure Chayce comes to his farm in Georgia when he’s around, in Nashville and all, to fish at one of his ponds since both of them love fishing. And you gotta do ‘23’ , and others, by Chayce too. He’s AMAZING!! Anyway, I have a pretty good opinion of Luke, so who knows! ☺️
Chris Stapleton is one of my all-time favorite singers. If this song is the only one you've heard from him, he's DEFINITELY one you should dive into his catalog of songs. He's got one of the best voices ever. Favorite songs of his are. 1. Fire Away 2. Tennessee Whiskey 3. Halo 4. Sometimes I cry 5. Say something by Justin Timberlake featuring Chris Stapleton. He also sang the National Anthem this last time and blew everyone away. He literally made people in the audience and on the field cry.
Yall should slide out some toward some 70s southern rock now...may I suggest Lynyrd Skynyrd song Simple Man! Although you may know it already if so then another. lol
You really should do the CMA (or ACM, I can’t remember) performance of Chris with Justin Timberlake and Tennessee Whiskey / Drink You Away. It’s become one for the ages, one by which others are judged. Chris’ wife Morgane is who you hear singing harmony. The two of them were meant to sing together. A couple other favorites of mine of Chris’ songs are Millionaire, Broken Halos, Hurricane. Great job Lysi! ♥️
I think y'all did chris Stapleton in the beginning and Lysi didn't like it????? I remember getting mad about something.. BUT, PLEASE WHENEVER YOU DO CHRIS STAPLETON PLEASE LOOK UP THE LIVE VERSION! HE SINGS WITH HIS WIFE .. AND WATCHING HIM DO THIS SONG WITH HIS WIFE AT THE CMA AWARDS, (or ACM) IT'S SO MUCH MORE SPECIAL!!!!!!!!!!

"Lucky man" by Montgomery Gentry. Also Travis Tritt has the legendary hit " Great day to be alive"
I will go comment on my previous comment 😅
