hey! i loved this video sm. 💓 what method would you say worked better for you when studying?
also when taking notes in class, how do you discern what information is most important to write down? (to prevent notes from being sloppy and all over the place)

hiii thank you so much for watching ❤️ they will give you things to help you study as well but i would definitely say incorporating flash cards worked best because i was able to bring them everywhere and do quick reviews on downtime..
when it comes to note taking, it’s ALOT of information.. so it helped me to use color coding and writing as much info as I can (just to stay awake lol) however, they have a method that allows you to catch each thing that’s most important so that it’s easier to digest and study at the end of the day.

It’s good they told you your based from week one! My previous airline told us the 2nd to last week, so we all had a week to figure out living situations, and none of us got the base we wanted 🥴 .. I found my crashpad a day before my IOE.. ooof .. it was STRESSFUL 😂🤣 .. it all worked out thankfully but chileeee

Did they give you a packet before training? To review what you would be doing

I’ve applied like 3 days ago, and yesterday I got invited to do a virtual interview so I got that submitted already! Can’t wait to see what happens. My question is how many days / hours of the week do flight attendants work?

congratulations to you! & yes the process moves fast, you totally got this.. 💫
to answer your question, you’ll start off on reserve and can be on call for up to 6 days (averaging 12 days off a month) and 78 hours guaranteed a month.. depending on the season you may work over or under 78 hours. hope that makes sense 🤗

What do you suggest that I study before going to training? I think airport codes would be a good start right?

not necessarily, some of us brought our own but they do provide the technology needed to get everything done.

You have to train to learn about safety on board per FAA regulations. You learn medical, how to fight fires on board, emergency evacuation, and how to de escalate conflict on board. Every airline is different, they all have their particular ways on how they handle these things and a lot of it is on a need-to-know basis.
