    Thank you, this still matches the KIA Sedona 2020 model (before the Carnival model) 👍

      I just replaced the bulb and managed to put everything back together. Definitely the biggest challenge is popping in and out that black cover, specially if it's the first time since the car was bought new.
      I suggest using a pocket flat screwdriver and insert it in those two slots, lift the screwdriver until you hear the plastic pop out (crack?). The rest is just rotating it out.
      I used an Armor All wipe to clean the black plastic cover and it helped to lubricate the little tabs. Then try to push in both tabs at the same time FIRMLY

    Thanks. My driver side unit was a bit hard to remove, but stuck a flathead screwdriver in there to help out a bit. Just had to wiggle it a bit harder than I thought.

    This was helpful. I was on the road and I needed to replace that light. I especially liked having the tool list since I didn't have my tools with me. The putty knife worked out better than the flat head screwdriver.

    You replaced the tailight not the brake light bulb. Would have also been helpful to discuss whether bulb was not working even though it wasn't burned out (like my situation) and when fuse is fine.

    I don’t understand,I did exactly what this guy did but when try to remove the bulb from it,it wouldn’t come off,I try to pull as hard as I can but the bulb wouldn’t budge off of my 2017 Kia Sedona 🤷‍♂️ I don’t understand

      Hi Joshua, thanks for your post. It’s in there pretty tight, after taking the screws out, you have to tug on it pretty good for it to come loose.

    • @joshuajimenez6585
      @joshuajimenez6585 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DEEJAYGEEOOO I see,so you just have to pull on it really hard or something.

      There's a lock groove that it sits snugly in. In this particular model, if you're holding the base of the bulb in your left hand, and the top of the bulb in your right hand, you twist the bulb slightly clockwise to unlock it and jiggle it out of the groove to pop it out. If it's not working and you're at your wits' end, try twisting slightly either clockwise or counter clockwise before pulling the bulb out. Might be different for different models.

    After taking it apart why did you not show the Bulb Number, so your video information is incomplete. It would take much to say what the Bulb Part Number is. This is a Incomplete and BAD video.

    • @DEEJAYGEEOOO
      @DEEJAYGEEOOO  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think you should rewatch the video. The bulb number is provided at the :12 mark.

      Trade number 2357. That’s what it was for the 2021 Kia Sedona that I did for a relative today. It is readily available anywhere including Walmart or any auto parts store.
