I wish they never stopped making dts but the xts seems like an updated version of the dts. I love the latest design of it especially the L shaped tail lights 👍🏽👍🏽😊😊
My DTS Performance was recently totalled. How does this car compare with ride, luxury, performance and safety? I'd rather hear from a private individual before talking with a salesperson. My DTS had every available option. I see that many of those options are add-ons for the XTS. My brother is trying to talk me into a Lexus or Mercedes, but I'd rather buy American. 🇺🇸 Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond. 😎
Ride is completely different..you can say sporty compared to the DTS ..The 2013-2017(come with magride standard) .. the standard 3.6 has guts and moves the car well(quick but not a rocket).. drives as if it was smaller than it is...2018+ removes standard magride ...the seats feel better and steering wheel positioning and leather feel is better than previous years. As far as safety its loaded with bags, safety features, and brakes are strong(think nose dives).. it has sensors all around and can park itself on some trims. Standard comes with alot of premium options Led and leather seating surfaces(just means whole seat isnt leather like the back and sides. Luxury comes well equipped.. and the newer fancier options like full digital dash come on upper trims.. Go to a dealer and tell them you want to do a 24hr test drive in the highest trim your willing to pay for(that they have available for testing) and see if you dont want to bring it back. Good look on your search.
CTS versus XTS?? So what are people's thoughts on this? I can't decide between the CTS or XTS, they seem virtually the same to me except for a few external differences in appearance. I won't be buying a car for a few mos now and it's pretty much come down to a decision between the XTS or CTS, I guess I'm leaning toward simply buying whichever one is lower cost but if there's some major difference I should know about, if anyone has that info, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
