    Although, casp is for more practioners and knowing the how the tech works. I feel like it's still best to get the cissp because it's iat 3 and iam 3 which allows you to still access those jobs that practioners get.

    First of all, thank you! The material being presented here is invaluable. In your opinion/experience, which one provides better returns CISSP or CASP in terms of compensation in the long run? Thanks.

    I currently maintain A+, N+ and Security+, I am planning to "PASS" the CISSP exam next year. Any studying pointers? I am also seeking CeH, CASP and CISA.

    @5:10 So if I just studied and passed the Sec + exam. Should I go back and get the Net + and A +?, or should I just move forward and get the CASP since I am currently studying for it now?

    • @enderqueen5588
      @enderqueen5588 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mojo jojo Didn't see any response to this so short answer: Don't bother with Net+/A+. CompTIA views their certs as a heirarchy, starting with A+ and working up to CASP. Higher certs assume knowledge of those underneath, hence why (in my case, for example) renewing Sec+ also renews Net+. So unless you want the alphabet soup in your sig block for S's-n-G's, save your time and $$$ and just go for CASP.
      You can see their pyramid chart here: certification.comptia.org/stayCertified/renewing-multiple-certifications HTH!

      +mojo jojo Hey, I know just what you mean. It would benefit you to do research on A+ and N+ key concepts just for the background knowledge.

    So, basically, CASP+CISM=CISSP :)

      I'm late to the conversation as always, but I'm here :D - Better Late than Never.
      Anyways, jokes aside, it appears to me more that CASP + CISM > CISSP.
      Where CASP and CISM combined will cover all subjects in CISSP, the CISSP on it's own won't cover the more detailed technical stuff in CASP nor the higher level management stuff in CISM.
