we back! 0:17 just a little info to share here, the big bang theory is known for not having a laugh track, the show is filmed in front of a live audience, every single episode, you can check some of the behind-the-scenes when you finish the show :D
all the classic sitcoms are filmed in front of a live audience - big bang, friends, seinfeld , all in the family, etc - odd that before the big bang theory no one complained about the live audience- people are weird
I think it's just the era. We barely had comedy shows back then without a laugh track/live audience. And the ones currently on air/stream are the exact opposite. TBBT is the first show I have seen with audience laughter in like 15 years lol.
i actually like the live audience - it feels like you are watching a play - the sitcoms without the live audience feel stale to me - i think the reason is the actors do not have audience to feed off of - so they come off as less funny

I definitely see the appeal if you think of it as a play.
I grew up with the live audiences, so i dont ever notice it until it's pointed out, lol
