It’s the grabbing of the ring that was condescending, rude and unnecessary. Don’t snatch people’s items. Use words like an adult.

@@MrWhis-fe5hs I’m sorry did you not hear them say they asked for permission before they trespassed on restricted zones? They did behave like adults. Even though they were mad, they weren’t screaming and shouting, they weren’t fighting him. All the employee should have done was ARTICULATE that they aren’t allowed there regardless of what the other employee said. You don’t snatch things from people, that’s little children behaviour.

Unless danger or disrespect is clearly expected or assured, snatching someone's personal belonging for a minor inconvenience is one of the most unprofessional things an employee can do, overall.
If we consider this specific circumstance (Disneyland, which is *literally* a place where customers of all ages *pay* for a service which is *specifically* required to fulfill a fantasy/create and maintain a happy moment through entertainment and personal attention) a behavior like that wasn't only technically unnecessary, but punishable, since it literally goes against the purpose of the service.
There are ways to deal with minor inconveniences in a circumstance like Disneyland's. Professionals in fact manage to do it while staying in character, in order to respect the protocol as well as the service the clients paid for.
That dude messed up big time, and ruined what he was *paid* not to ruin: a special moment for a customer (which actually is objectively and historically considered a big deal all around the world).
He could have managed it differently, but he chose to ruin someone's special moment and to lose his job instead. Smart move!

The guy was a d*ck for the way he approached them. Would you do exactly what he did and snatch someone's ring during a proposal? Because I didn't see anything going on at that moment and in any case, let them experience that one time moment and then escort them safely off stage! I guess Disney didn't take their employee's antics to kindly either judging by this video's title!

Yes! If you are thinking "the moment was destroyed" after proposing in effing Disneyland, you should be prepared for the divorce in a few months. These shallow people really do believe that they all live in Selfie-Land.

He didn't do the right thing. He was told to politely asked them to get down after a miscommunication with another employee telling them it was ok. Did he politely ask them to get down? No what he did was swipe the ring box and passive aggressively gestured with his arms for them to get down.

Exept for all the people cheering and then all the other people who complained online, forcing Disney to apologize. It's more that no one cares about you and you're projecting. Sad.

People are bound to recognize him sooner or later, his identity doesn't need to be plastered so other narcissists can use him as a scapegoat, which is what it'll mostly be.

You need a life. At the end of the day, he was doing his job. He might not have gone about it the right way, but working at a theme park in areas where people could get injured is highly stressful because if they don’t listen, their lives are on the line. Disney has four keys that drive everything they do- safety, courtesy, show and efficiency (in that order). Safety goes above courtesy, what happens if a pyrotechnic would have gone off on the couple for being in a place where they’re not supposed to be?!
Again, bit the right way to go about it, but to bully someone for a mistake in a high stress job is low and despicable.

@@eardescentmarvelo7566 a mistake lol. Bro did it with a smile on his face. and his response showed some malice. Don’t know how you can defend someone when literally anyone with common sense on first view of the video knew that was the dumbest thing to do. this man takes his job at Disney land way too serious.it’s a theme park bro he’s not a doctor lol. He was straight hating and jealous. People like him need to be exposed. You are probably somebody like him who takes simple jobs way too far and serious. No type of common sense.
