- So called because "it seemed like a good idea at the time"...today I'm taking on one of the world's most renowned burrito challenges at The Whole Enchilada in Winter Garden, FL.
This burrito is stuffed to the brim with chicken, rice, black beans, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and guacamole and is fabled to weigh in at between six and seven pounds. It's accompanied by a pile of nachos, costs $39.99, but should you finish inside 45 minutes; you get the whole thing on the house, a spot on the wall of fame and a winner's t-shirt!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

I honestly don't know why I like this channel so much. I don't even like competitive eating. But every time I get done watching a video I find myself smiling. Must be the Beard's winning personality.
Probably because he leave a great feeling with people.
For me, I started watching beard when I started intermittent fasting. Maybe he’s helped me with my 30 lbs so far…thanks beard.

It’s really his witty banter and conversational skills that keep me watching. The delicious food is a plus. But I really really enjoy his videos where he vlogs and tries multiple restaurants in a day, or goes somewhere with his wife. Those are the best ones ❤

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! Do a prep video on the steps you take to prepare for these giant eating sessions! Give us a video of the before what you do yo prepare and then a aftermath video of what you do after you eat it all! I know I’m not the only one that is extremely curious!!

I've worked in Winter garden and the restaurant's in the area are usually up scale. Thanks for the video and information for the best burrito challenge. Next time I get to the area I will drop in and try the food. Great to see you here in the state of Florida. I hope you really enjoy your time here.

Hey Beard I have not commented in a while. I am a big fan. Obviously I am always impressed with your capacity but in the risk of sounding cheesy its your personality that makes you my favorite. You are funny, humble and truly seem like an all around cool dude. If you ever come to East Tennessee let me know if you remember. Also lastly I just have to say my fourteen-year-old son loves these types of videos also. He loves Erik the Electric. I think Eric seems like a great guy but we have many arguments as to why I think your channel is much much more enjoyable. He argues that his capacity is better than yours and I tell him it's actually close but it's not capacity that's most important its enjoyment

I got to winter garden once a year to visit family, and I always go to the Whole Enchilada. I always joke that I’m gonna do the challenge, but I know my limits 😂

Florida (especially south Florida) has some amazing Latin food tbh. I know everyone thinks of southern Cali for the best, but I'm telling you there are little food trucks and family owned places that are as authentic as it gets and from a bunch of different countries in Latin America so you get a variety of flavors. Pretty rad. There's a little taco place in Lake Worth that has the best Mexican food I've ever had. Every time I went in the youngest kids would be there helping clean or playing board games and the older kids would be helping at the counter or in the kitchen. A true family place. Tiny, but so warm and inviting and just amazing food.
Man I struggle to get an appetite so I smoke a little and watch these vids and I get hungry af. All the love from Texas!

I watch beard when I've sat to eat. Albeit not nearly as much food but I can't understand why I find it so entertaining minus your lovely personality!
Food challenges are interesting, but I wouldn't have considered them such a hot topic for me to follow. But (especially when comparting your channel to others) the way you interact with the people and places that you visit is a great energy and I find myself diving down wormholes on your channel because of this. Keep that life-frequency in tact and best wishes to you on your future ventures.

I live right in the area and love going to downtown Winter Garden/Plant street!! The whole enchilada is amazing, they also own Harrell's Hot Dogs + Cold Ones a stone's throw away on the opposite side of the main street from there. Amazing classic and also out there dogs. I actually proposed to my now fiance at the hotel next door. Been watching and loving your videos for a while now keep it up! Stoked you're in the area I'd love to get a heads up of where you're going next I'll bring a big fan club to cheer you on :D

I did a burrito challenge once and you're right, tasted amazing and you'd be happy to know I finished it😁.. was only about 2kg though but bloody hard for us mere mortals
natchos are when the chips(crisps) are purposely topped with ingredients and then heated. Those are just chips you're scooping food with.

Now that is a proper burrito. Okay too large but not lots of crap on top (avocado mash, sour cream). Not nachos - those are tortilla chips. Nachoes are tortilla chips with toppings, esp cheese. Yum!

Love your work brother. Do you think it might have been easier to crunch the corn chips down and sprinkled them on the burrito as you were eating it with your spoon? You should make a series on all the challenges you have lost; and why. Would make for great content
As a technique thing, would taking some of the burrito filling out early on and mashing it with the tortilla chips be an option? It will soften them up, and make them 'spoonable'

an alternative could've been to break up the chips and mix them in with the fixings. not as satisfying but might help with the speed.

I've got an authentic mexican restaurant about 5 miles from home. Best steak tacos I've ever had. Haven't been there for over a year, but I'm gonna remedy that oversight tonight, I think!
