Love that this is a 1v1 fighting game because most anime fighting games try to force 2v2s or 3v3s. This is a breath of fresh air
I like that too but I think 3 v 3 would have been fun

It’s a great example of why games are so special to fans. The devs being able to add extra flair to a character’s moveset makes them such a fun experience. The Naruto Storm games had a lot of unique moves that characters could have done in the series but never did. I’m excited to see what they do with this!

@Diddys-BoyToy probably how it did in the ds game. Basically, the whole screen goes black and only you can see everything but the opponent can't. I don't know how it will work for local vs though

Bought a PS3 again a few months ago just to play Bleach Soul Resurrection again. Can't wait for this to come out. And with marketing with a picture of Rukia with the text "Lieutenant" it feels like that they are already planning for an update/DLC.

Bleach blade battlers 2nd is wayy better than soul resurrection, you cant even transform or play the main characters like orihime, chad, ikkaku, renji, tousen, etc its no wonder ppl rarely play that

Imagine a system where if you lose you have to fight your Zanpakuto spirit or inner hollow or inner Yhwach (quincy) to revive and get a second live .

If this game has destructive environment, this game will be next level.
Destructive environment usually leads to a lot of lag, hence why many game devs shy away from it when they can

thing is the game might just be out this yeah given how its already been in the making for 2-3 years already, let alone coming soon usually means close to the end of the year which people are assuming october or around that end of the year months

Each character with their own mechanics reminds me of burning blood, a one-piece game where everything was lore accurate.
Like logia being game to ignore attacks by holding a button but fire couldn't phase for lava for example or haki attacks hitting through it

The combat somehow reminds me of FF Dissida on the PSP.

It being a dueling game is perfect since that's essentially is Bleach's battles with e exceptions.

Last 2 weeks have been really AWESOME for us because in 2 weeks ago weekend 6.7-7.7.2024 there was showed a new Bandai Namco Bleach game and Bleach TYBW Cour 3 trailer defineitily the new Bleach Rebirth of Souls game trailer was a BIG surprise can't wait i'm so excited for 2 Bleach games Soul Resonance and Rebirth of Souls and Anime TYBW Cour 3: BANKAI! 🔥🔥

The way it’s conveyed it makes it seem like Bankai will just be a finishing attack and not a power up with its own abilities and gameplay. But I hope that’s not the case.

I really just want more game modes than just 1v1. I heard some Senran Kagura devs are on this and it would be awesome for them to include some form of Horde mode so we can destroy lots of goons with the amazing animations they've created

“13th Division Lieutenant” for Rukia feels like a big clue????
Amazing video as always and I have to say that this new mechanic Soul Destruction it looks very similar to Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy when in response to a hit you Stop the Time for a bit and use Your EX caugue to slowdown you rival for a couple of seconds to beat him, alternatively to simply use the Liberation with the Full EX Caugue. I really think this is inspired a lot by that game and hope you can made Air impulses in any directions or just step in air like in Budokai Tenkaichi games.
O mean tbh this game deserves to be triple a. Aka great graphics, mind blowing gameplay that really lets u use their abilities like it would work in the anime with tons of character ls... Every captain is without saying...THIS IS BLEACH!!! ONE OF THE BIG 3!!

It sounds similar to the bravery and hp mechanics in dissidia. If so that would be so cool. I always wanted a bleach game that played like dissidia 012 the psp title.

That to me sounds way too short of a game for some reason maybe there will be free playable dlcs for each arc
@Marukanitel That's not short at all, especially if the secondary characters are getting fights too. Minus the fillers, thr anime went for years

The bankai getsuga is still black and red which is very strange considering the Shikai one is gold. And everything otherwise seems to be tybw colors. Not a problem really. Just strange.
So far they’ve only shown us special/super moves. I really need to see gameplay. It is another interesting decision for sure that they’ve shown us like 10 special moves and not a drop of open gameplay. I just want to see more of this game. And hear the full version of the cour 3 opening it’s getting hard to wait for this stuff I’m anticipating it so much.

I mean you can complete the mission in exploring way buy walking between worlds
The Fullbringer arc would make a GREAT dlc as sort of self contained and small as it is. While TYBW could be a whole ass sequel.
And the roster could be nuts just these arcs. 6 mains + 2 (Yoruichi and Urahara), 13 Captains, 10 Espada, some of the vice captains, Ikakku and Yumichika, a couple of the Vizards at least, we're already looking at a plausible 40ish character roster for a new game.
I hope they don't end up all feeling the same like Naruto Storm. Games like SF or Tekken have had really big roosters at launch even if they don't eve reach 40. I think Tekken 8 had 32.
@@paledrake Wait you're saying you think the characters all feel the same in Storm or you don't want the games to feel the same? Because the characters in Storm have the most wild cinematic movesets, that's definitely what I want here.

Very Bushido Blade-like, where the focus is in strategy in order to deliver a one-hit finishing blow.
My guess is that characters will have, instead of an HP bar, a "shield" meter. Once that's depleted, they'll be opened for a Soul Destruction instakill, like when you crash an opponent's poise in Sekiro. Once you Soul Destruction an enemy, they can power up and get attacks that can better break away the shield of the opponent, but they'll be at one Soul Destruction away from KO themselves.
I can see some characters being much better while they're at the precipice of defeat because their final forms are super OP, so a strategy would be being cocky like in Bleach and get beat down on purpose.

The game will take place from the beginning of the series until aizens defeat. I can see them maiing TYBW a 40$ dlc and considering how long it is it is 100% justified. But I think they'll save Lost Agent and TYBW for a sequel if this game does well.

@@FunkyFunky7345 No, that's a filler arc and it's the most hated one too. Not even Bleach Brave Souls have added bounts and they have characters for all the other filler arcs and even movies.
I feel the system is a bit limiting, How are they gonna do characters that don't really have any transformations?
Either they'll release it this year for the anniversary, or they'll release it after cour 3 finishes while we're waiting for the final cour.
I hope it actially has good fighting game mechanics, and isnt just ultimate ninja storm with bleach characters.

I'm hoping, with the limited story they are intentionally doing (Otherwise really weird to pick the Arrancar arc as the stopping point) that they add smaller characters that had maybe a few minutes of total screen time as playable characters.
Would love to see that one character Chad and Orihime face against when they got split up in the Soul Society arc.
Limited story? It goes from the beginning to Aizen's defeat. That is like half the series if not more.

I really hope rebirth and sparking will add hidden depth to their gameplay like tenkaichi 2 and 3 used to have. While simple on the surface it had alot going on underground, that would be cool.
Kinda like hoe Smash Bros does it. Super accessible and simple to play, but has compex and competitive game mechanics if you want to go that deep.

All they have to do is take previous games and make it better. Arcade fights, open areas, leveling up, a well made story mode, and unlike Soul Resurrection, a good character selection. Other games already do this. Bleach has had 20 years now.

I'm skeptical about this game, 1v1 arena is the main concern, Soul Resurreccin formula is better imo with 1v1 againts boss (and there is space for multiplayer) secondly why stops before TYBW? Anime most likely to be finished by the time the game is released. Overall I can't wait to see the finished game and play but yeah I have my concerns.
Tbh I like the 1v1 format. For me team battles always kinda get boring and for a while people seem to always rely on that play style. We had a fair share of team based games especially for Arena fighters from the last couple of years so this feels refreshing.
The art style of the GamePlay really reminds me of ArcSys.
I see this game having less than 20 characters I'm extremely worried how there going balance every chacter Properly from bleach has some of the most broken abilities in anime. But will have wait and see how.
