Cool 👍 when me and my family went to Edinburgh we took the tram to get into town from the airport. I don’t really see why this bus is still necessary given the fact the tram performs the same function and is run by the same company
The tram is a rip off - interior looks dated, overpriced compared to the bus and potentially slower at times. The bus is a contract - and it is very popular, so therefore it won't be going anywhere.
Edinburgh buses are some of the best going, but I've never heard such an awful racket from a reasonably new bus. You could just about put up with that for the 30 minute ride but it would be torture on a long distance journey
Amazing content
Thanks
Keep it coming
We are producing a travel program introducing Edinburgh, Scotland.
We want to use your video.
May I leave the source of the above video and use it?
Jeez thing feels like falling apart with all rattling
Maybe it has something to do with the appalling state of the roads.
When did the service start going from South St Davids Street?
Moved from Waverley Bridge to South St David Street probably during 2020 I guess.
Waverley Bridge was closed to traffic at Princes Street at the start of the pandemic and has never reopened.
It seems to serve more as a local bus than an airport service
Filmed during the 'pandemic'. With limited services on the road, so more using it.
@@AudioDave1 Most residents in Edinburgh have a Ridacard so it doesn't cost extra to use. So even outside of covid it was used by regular travellers.
The announcements are the same as the trams
The voice is - the announcements aren't exactly the same though.

Because the tram carefully avoids anywhere that people live between the city centre and the airport!
The bus is quicker and cheaper.

The bus is 24/7, the tram stops at around 11pm.
