I was avoiding watching fan videos of the derby .. however after 5 days of no video from Matt, Robbie, Paul or Ruddy I was concerned some one had been injured, so watched yours .. great to see every one was ok .. will await the drivers videos now feeling much more relaxed
Holly thoroughly enjoying her good friends doing an automotive thing she hasn't seen before and reacting to it with wonder and surprise...this was so fun to watch her watching them. And her friends won because it was a challenge Derby from the 4 Team Gladiators members to Matt, Paul, Robby and Rudy of Team MORR.
What makes it even better is the same as the wrecker games #mattsoffroadrecovery #fabrats #robbylaytonnation let Hollie post first. They all have a bond that goes deeper then just follow offroaders they are proof that family isn't just blood
I love how Hillbilly races across the dirt to give Robby a high five or a hug, but totally Hillbilly's it and shirt fronts Robby, knocking him flying. All that horsepower and steel couldn't take out the Babyfaced Assassin, but an enthusiastic best mate slams him to the ground.
Young lady- it absolutely melts my ❤ & brings a tear to my eyes to see you from another country, coming to America & falling in love with your family, friends, & life in America 🇺🇸 ❤ I'm so happy for you!

Brought back old memories of watching for the first time. I couldn't believe the craziness and the mayhem! Seems like you had a wonderful time.
As I retired derby driver myself, Holly you really need to build a car and experience the energy rush you get driving in a derby. You'll be hooked I guarantee it.
I got my nephew to do one with me, and he had a smile from ear to ear when we were done. He passed a couple weeks ago, but ill always remember that smile on that day.
It's always fun to watch European reaction to some of our crazy Merican stuff. Here in the NW we derby combines/harvesters. If you haven't, go see a local rodeo.

I'm the redneck wrecker at my local derbies. I bring in my antique tractor to pull the wrecks out. Grew up in 4h and loved watching. Now I get real good seating. My tractor seat. Lol
You were watching a more refined version of what demo derby 'racing' carnage used to be! There is actual prep to survive, really good drive trains, and much fore thought now days! Glad you enjoyed it Holly!!

Hey Hollie, want to go to the biggest State Fair? Come to Minnesota @ end of summer. SO. MUCH. GOOD. FOOD. (Texas says theirs is bigger, but theirs lasts 21 days - we have the same number of visitors, but only over 10 days!)

Nice seeing you all supporting each other ! But you need to come to Michigan too . Drive some of the trails and take your jeep across the Mackinaw Bridge . Lots to see and do in green forest and pastures , with lot's of streams and lakes to fish .
I thoroughly enjoy wheeling in Michigan.I’ve only ever wheeled in Harrison at Rocks & Valleys Offroad Park, but I’ve been wanting to head further north for a while now. Hopefully I can make that happen in the next 15-18 months.
@@jilbertb I think only one vehicle has ever went over the railing and it was a small car during a wind storm blowing across the bridge . They shut it down in cross wind conditions and have for over 30+ yrs . But it is an amazing sight day or night . Will remind you of life . Go twice though . Once driving and once as passenger so you can look around and check out the full 5 mile + views (unless its a foggy day ) .
I saw my first derby when I was probably 7-8 years old and knew from that very moment that I would one day be driving in one. Well it ended up being 222 derbies but who's counting?? LOL

Too bad Walter didn't get to come with you. New York doesn't have anything like what one can experience at the Washington County Fair. As much fun as this demolition derby can be, you need to plan to come to the Kentucky Derby. It is a much different experience indeed!

Those are heavy derby cars. We ran stock autos. Extra frame on drivers door , cut corners of bumpers off, gas tanks in passenger area battery on passenger floor. Driving a car in the shape of a capital A by the end of the nite. What ....a...BLAST !!!
Glad you enjoyed your first Demo Derby! As exciting as it is today, it's nothing compared to the good ol' days when all you needed was a helmet and a seat belt. Oh yeah, a car came in handy too!

Legend has it it was a Yugo that was blown off. I think it was late 80's early 90's when it happened
