    You keep the AC on all you need. I personally don't mind background noises, whitenoise/brown noise is relaxing for me. It stops my brain from going 90 mph and I can focus on your voice and the ASMR. It also makes it more immersive depending on the background noise. :)

    JB, I'm convinced that you are a literal angel. I've been having one of the worst weeks, and this is just what I need right now. You're a star. A shiny, spangly angel star with great jewellery.

    I love the way you chat with us while you work, and occasionally interrupt yourself to tell us to look up or close our eyes. It really helps with the immersion!
    I love gemstones, and would really enjoy a video where you just show and tell your collection, if you have more!

    Jb, I’m usually a lurker, but I just wanted to say I’ve been watching you for years. I’ve got a chronic illness that makes my sleep quality terrible, so I need a LOT of sleep, and asmr has been helping for ages and you’re one of my go-to creators. You’re about a third of my “horse tranquilizer level asmr” playlist.
    Please don’t melt in the Texas heat, I’d cry. 😂
    (Also seriously- I am a white noise enjoyer so I can guarantee I won’t be bothered, and I barely noticed it in the video, you’re totally fine.)

    My magical "go-to" video has been your Very Serious and Intense Light Exam video every since the day you posted it. I think saying I've watched it 50 times is not an exaggeration. Your rhythm of movements and range of motion with all of your light & reiki triggers have always been absolute perfection. And that light exam video never ceases to evoke a fuzzy asmr euphoria for me.

    I love Sarah Louise Tilsley's videos! I love when you reference other ASMRists you like, it's always someone I'm also subscribed to. It's cool to get a glimpse into what you're watching and see what inspires you. Plus I love seeing people appreciate channels I love.
    What a great fun video! It has a lot of aspects I look for; personal attention, face touching, hand movements, plus I just like crystals. And number one, I find your voice very relaxing.
    Also, I don't even notice the sound of your air conditioner, and even if I did, your comfort and health are more important!

    Love the pacing and soothing intention of this video. No issues with the white noise - which I only noticed once the video was finished -and I couldn't hear it anymore. More videos in a similar style would be wonderful. Thank you for the mid-work-day distraction.

    I've def heard some more folks with the AC white noise in their video, just a reality of filming in summer. I'm pretty neutral to it though sometimes its actually helped tone down the outside sounds around me which has been nice. Also your crystal collection is hella cool.

    Love it, JB! I have go-to's I keep coming back to for certain things, like your anxiety stoppers when I'm anxious or need to sleep but I'm panicking about the next day. Your videos always help me relax.
    Especially when I'm struggling with anxiety as your voice is one of maybe three that doesn't agitate me instead.
    I actually find the white noise comforting as that's what I'm used to when I'm going to sleep so it's an added familiar and safe sound for me. 😁
    Regardless, your safety and health should come first.
    Thank you so much for your time and effort.
    Be safe and happy.

    💚 this. I'm not familiar w/ crystals by any means - but also have been fascinated by them since childhood & still have a few here & there from back then. I tremendously enjoy reiki & crystal work videos - but use them basically as a form of calming ( meditating?) & redirecting myself in the fury of chronic health problems. The memories from childhood of the love & joy from seeing/collecting such fascinating tiny wonders also has a huge part in my reactions. Crystal makeup is my favorite. But I'd also reached the point of rewatching my favorite such videos to where I wasn't phased anymore...I needed new ones. Thank you for answering my silent wish! This was extremely relaxing & I will definitely be replaying several times more.
    I think the background white noise-A/C- is great...prefer asmr videos w/ some kind of background noise (water, music, traffic, etc). Total silence is unnerving to me for some reason & about 90% of what I listen to has such sounds. I'm an 8 day clock since infancy- it takes a lot to unwind me🤷‍♀️

  • @lindenbug
    @lindenbug ปีที่แล้ว

    I have ‘go-to’ categories of ASMR for different situations. Tension headaches and migraines usually call for an up-close-to-the-ear treatment for maximum tingles. No talking ambient and/or object interacting type ASMR is good background noise while working. If I’m anxious or struggling to slow down, a ‘follow my instructions’ or question answering video will help. Otherwise personal attention is great to fall asleep to and feel cozy, and I think of roleplays as waking dreams that carry me into actual dreams.
    I usually find a different one every night but return to old favorites a lot. It’s a cycle because after a few times it does tend to fade, but freshen up again after a break. Kinda like music.

  • @meep2404
    @meep2404 ปีที่แล้ว

    i also have my go-to asmr videos i love and repeat! although i tend to not repeat every night, i have them in a playlist and if i cant find something else to watch, i go through those because i know they'll work. lots of videos by you there, you're amazing!!!

    Such a fun, relaxing and creative video! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked learning about the crystals, too. My birth stone is amethyst and that piece you started with is so beautiful. I couldn't hear the ac in the background, but I personally have nothing against you keeping it on and living through the video even if I could hear it. In fact, I prefer it! lol 💖💖 Hope you're doing well, JB! Thanks for posting!

  • @poeticrainbows7224
    @poeticrainbows7224 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    this is such a fun concept for a video! andi love the decision to make a whole video out of a specific/unusual trigger from a different video! i definitely have go-to videos that i rewatch 3-7 times before moving on to a different go-to! a lot of my go-tos end up being yours. your channel is definitely a go-to channel if i can't find anything that's working for me or if my go-tos just aren't hitting the spot. after time has passed, i find myself returning to old go-tos that i haven't watched in a while.
    as far as the white noise in the background goes, i didn't really register it until you said anything. but once you did, i definitely could hear it, and it was nice! it gives an even tone to the background. but even so, it's so hot where you live and in your recording space, you really just gotta do what you got to do to stay cool and comfortable! don't ever be sorry for taking care of yourself!

    To answer your question, I'll have a few "go-to" ASMR videos that I'll revisit from time to time. I've found if one starts to lose effectiveness with me, not watching it for a while and coming back to it later seems to help make it work for me again. Anyways, lovely video, as always! And I've never looked better! Which is, to be honest, a low bar to get over..

    I know I always have to comment at the start of your videos because your wonderful voice always lulls me to sleep. First I love your rings. They are gorgeous. Secondly, yes I do have go to videos. A lot of them are yours. Sometimes I will watch a couple days in a row because like I said, I probably fell asleep the first time. Then I will pull them up when needed. I particularly like your video where you are Dr. J. B. working on the paper version of me. Major triggers for me! Love you! Stay safe down there in Texas. That amethyst is beautiful, honey I live in Florida so I 100% understand you need the ac. You can’t even hear it, and if I could I wouldn’t care. It has been august hot this June and I am scared for the rest of summer. I enjoy the sounds of a horn honking, rain, or other just living sounds it feels real. Very sterile sounds feel to perfect, I prefer sincerity.

    If I try really hard maybe I can hear the AC? But if you didn't mention it, I wouldn't have even thought of it. Stay cool in that blistering heat! And as always thanks again for another great video.

    I do have some go to asmr videos but for me it’s more asmr genres or creators. I tend watch one creator or one roleplay/trigger videos for a period of time.

    My go-to videos are mostly yours...10 or 12 in a loose rotation.

    Oh, your “girl in the back of class plays with your hair” vid is my go-to…for at least 30 watches.

    I don't know whether this has already been said, thus sorry if it's repetition, actually desert rose is made of gypsum.
    Also, you may want to check your "lingam" stone. I don't know whether it's because I am a yoga teacher and I also work with crystals for energy healibg sessions but it sounded weird. Please, don't take offence, I love your videos and have loved them for 10+ years and this one is amazing as well, just sharing what I know ❤

    I hear your AC on in the background, but it doesn’t bother me. I live in Florida and it’s in mid 90s. I’m use to it 😊
