i think "blind" and "red" are basically coordinated adjectives, rather than creating contrast to each other. in the context of love and obsession, blindness is the distortion of reason, foresight, etc and red is passion, jealousy, lust, etc. in my reading,
i don't interpret becoming "your masterpiece" as a positive thing--she isn't becoming her own masterpiece, after all. it's the result of being disfigured by blind passion to remake yourself into what you know someone wants.
"you ask me questions, i don't even know" furthers this reading. her own individuality is becoming compromised and unclear as she remakes herself into the other person's ideal. this is meant to be viewed, i think, as something destructive and almost violent. in the final frame of the MV, we see her disappear behind that curtain of blood. the individual is gone and only the idealization created out of passion remains.
