I love that Miriam let him go on trying to translate while she's probably the hippest grandma you'll ever meet that'll drop stories and swears he wouldn't ever even dare repeat to his children.
I know, right. He was so condescending toward her, while she probably has way more street smarts and knowledge than he does, but they put him in his place by pointing out his improper use of the English language. That was gold.
I think maybe she wasn't a huge fan of the show to begin with and had hoped for a romantic proposal at the beach, rather than a hasty appearance on Norton's show with an audience judging her every move.
