If Ectotron isn't in the sequel I will be sad, but if he gets his own storyline, I will be very happy, and if the two stories crossover with gigawatt going to the future to see a broken down version of Ectotron, and then goes on a mission to the past to save him, I will be happier than the guy who wrote the song called happy.
I like the new way to introduce the shattered glass and when there is Orion pax Ariel look at their future it was so emotional I really like, hope to know how it would end
I think I understand why the future change for the worst instead of the better. (SPOILER) It’s because I think in the past Megatron was still sane and still rational before doing what he did, while Orion is young and also rational, but when Gigawatt revealed events that transpired I think that cause some changes to happen. Megatron is still sane and rational at this time and I think he still believes in Equality of Cybertronian, but of course he would become what he is if it weren’t for the intervention of Gigawatts. This did give a positive effect to happen, when Megaton saw the monster he become in the original timeline, you can see and hear the shock and terror on Megatron’s voice when he saw the destruction he cause. However it has the opposite effect on Orion, when he sees Arial’s death you can feel the betrayal and pain seeing his so-called brother kill the person he cares for, and I can understand went to that path instead of being that calm and collective Optimus we know, he becomes the opposite. And I believe this stems to the fact he is still a young individual, not the wise and kind hearted Prime we know. And as seen in the video, it cause a butterfly effect, creating an alternate timeline where Cybertron still lives but it is nothing more but a dystopian civilization. That’s how I see it.
Created or not. Gigawatt was just young bot like orion learning from his own knowledge around cycle of time. Despite lot of choices that could've been better so far,it's not that easy to settle few things out in one place where we wish we could redeem ourselve or anyone else.
Now this ..this is magical it was weird seeing Orion act like the villain for a change it would be cool if in a later part if there is one gigawatt really messes up and makes it where shattered glass optimus and normal optimus meet
The voice acting in this is incredible. Plot felt very reminiscent of DCs Flash Point in how Optimus is now justice above all ideology. Great pacing as the cliffhanger hit hard and fast.
WOW...just WOW. What a creative use out of what I can describe a long-awaited concept wanted by fans. I have to point out too that I was not expecting the dark direction it go towards at the end. This is my favorite explanation for Shattered Glass. I keep coming back to this video to rewatch it because that ending just blew my mind. Hehe gigawatt has become one of my top faves in my collection, for his opening into our transformers universe we had him as a drone of vector prime, who lost his memories in battle and was sent on a scout mission off world, he came under attack by deceptions on earth in the 1980s, when he came to he seen a drive in theater playing the first back to the future, he scanned the time machine as it rolled out the truck, before he was discovered by the cons again he hit 88mph driving straight at the big screen sending him to the void in between time and space; he may have nearly altered the time line in transformers cybertron; he then reached current cybertron; under war by the cybertonians that remain, he found a pod, hitting to the stars, though the cons have a new moon base that detected and followed him to earth, he crashed due to black wing attacking him in free fall, the bots on earth detected his entry in the atmosphere, they went to the crash cite to find the cons in gun fight with someone hiding behind the rubble, the bots become target to the cons; hound being stubborn ran into the heat finding a damaged gigawatt from blackwings attack, the new nemesis rodimus came onto the battle given a little challenge but optimus slowed him down( being nemesis first day of being Megatrons new student,) the cons fell back letting the bots save gig, they brought him back to base as wheeljack uncovered why he looked like he was from back to the future; wheeljack then decided to call him gigawatt (funny we had a close idea simularity) but then vector prime identified him as one of the defense drones that protected him, he brought gig to the void to see if he remembered anything but nothing could be fixed (exsept fixing the cybertron timeline so that galvatron didn't win)... and that was how we brought gigawatt in... exactly on my birthday when I got him XD
BUT! his Flux compasiter no longer works, wheeljack is tinkering with it and the cons have acuired the design layout as did sideways and his team; and gigawatt himself now drives from time to time to see if he can fix it but with no luck; and his voice now sounds like Marty mickfly!... now he helps the bots as the work as grown to an interstellar distance of battles as alpha Q has returned needing there help protect his galexy from the mercinaries... and just last night he was in the valositron (speed planit) open planit race
Oh, that was amazing! And I didn't even realize that as Gigawatt was sent through the window, he was breaking into the Shattered Glass dimension. Flippin' brilliant!
