got my green dial one in today. it's fantastic. the green is so dark as to be almost black in some lighting conditions. I wish it had a screw down crown but I never had an issue with that other then remembering to double check it before getting it wet. I did end up having to order 2 links for it fro. citizen bug that fine. the first two links are free through citizen customer service plus a small shipping fee I think? Haven't done it in a while. for a first watch or an everyday tool watch you CANNOT go wrong. especially at this price for a steel cased solar watch. if casio did more watches like this I think they'd sell way more watches. I usually get feed up with a citezen watch cause it has some goofy/dificult to use complication. this is simple and looks fantastic. citizen you want more north American market.....THIS!

Cool watch! I finally got a Citizen myself a few months ago: the "Promaster Land" AT6080-53L (JDM). I got it on eBay from a Japanese seller, and there was no problem at all. The PMD56 line is older but nearly identical to the AT6080. It's a magnificent tool watch: 200m WR, sapphire crystal, super titanium (case & bracelet), day & date with perpetual calendar, absolutely packed with features. The H100 movement is fantastic -- you can easily move 1+ full hours forward or back without interrupting timekeeping (awesome for DST or travel). Really, I've tried many watches and the AT6080 impressed me so much that I've been singing its praises since I got it. I'm really sold on titanium now, too. My next watch will probably be another Citizen in titanium (something a bit dressier & less tool-y).
By the way, speaking of Joma, I've bought a few watches there myself and had no problems there either. The watches didn't come in the original boxes, but I didn't care.
that's awesome. I've always wanted that watch but could never find the money to afford one. I was always hoping they would bring it to north America so at least the atomic radio would work over here. I might save up and pick one up yet this year.... assuming protrek dosent come out with a new titanium watch. 😂 I Love titanium Protreks.
thx! splurged a little and ordered the green dial one. Wish it had sapphire but that's easily remedied with a gorilla glass screen protector for 10 bucks.
that being said I really wish citizen brought over the titanium Promaster At6080-53L over here. IMO it's the premium version of aw0110. titanium, perpetual calender and radio controlled. I will get that watch someday but I think this watch will tide me over until then 😂. after all you can't go wrong at 100 bucks for what the aw0110 is. I can't wait to receive it on the 28th...mdhl don't let me down! 😂
I've purchased a few Seiko through jomashop. I've never had any issues with the service. they shipped quickly and I always felt I was getting a good deal. my only issue was cross boarder shipping and dealing with DHL. but I can't hold that against jomashop. I see that at least I can pay duty fees up front through jomashop now. which is nice cause I always feel like DHL is always trying to screw you on cross boarder brokerage fees.
