Fish Pickwick Lake at the border of MS/TN/AL. The bite is fire this time of year and a lot of bass are still spawning. There's also smallmouth, walleye, and stripers. Below the dam, 20+ lb striped bass are caught every day.
Hey on ur way up to Maine stop at the South Watuppa Pond in Westport/Fall River MA also dont get confused by pond this a big AF pond IDK why its not a lake but its juicy ive seen some 8 lbs come out also their is a hotel thats like a miles from the launch I would say that is a good last stop before a push up to Maine also if u dont want to push for 3 to 4 hours up to maine then stop at lake Winnipesaukee in NH it the biggest lake in the North East.
Hey jon, one spot I really think you should go is sebasticook lake, it’s one of the largest lakes that touches one town in New England. It used to be used in a pro bass tour but has recently been fished less and less, I think you should go and show that it’s still a really nice spot.
We have a few good lakes in WV on your way up through. Stonewall Jackson Lake, Tygart Lake, some really good trout fishing in the mountains, and good small mouth fishing in our smaller rivers!

Hey Jon, on your way up to Maine you should stop in Eastern CT and go fish on Glasgo or Beach Pond, both have very large fish and pike. Lastly, Beach Pond had small mouth I believe, very large lake it's in two states CT and RI
Swing through Alabama and fish Lewis Smith Lake, I’m a local and if you can find the fish it’s super fun but it is a tough lake to fish because of its clarity and depth, it mostly has spotted bass
Not sure if you’re there yet, but fishing in the 3 rivers in Pittsburgh is not only amazing with some HUUUUGE fish, but the view of the city is AMAZING!
Come to East Tennessee there are more than eight different lakes with in an hour and a half of each other. Douglas, Cherokee, Norris. There are a lot of good bodies of water!
Go through Arkansas and hit Lake Quatchita, then through Tennessee and fish wheeler lake, and Guntersville, then up through Virginia and fish Potomac with SB fishing then on to Maine. That would be a epic Maine send!
Stop at lake winnipesaukee in New Hampshire on your way up. Awesome small mouth bite. Or some small lakes for a decent brook trout experience in New Hampshire.
Get on the striped bass bite its gonna be hot when youre passing through. Either Raritan Bay in North Jersey/NYC or out here on long island depending on where theyre at in the migration when you come by.
Jon, I've watched your ice fishing video and really enjoyed it. I noticed how you caught a pickerel and claimed it was your biggest one. There is an insane lake in New York that is filled to the rim with pickerel and you're guaranteed to catch a ton. I'd kayak there, I don't think you'd be able to bring the boat. On your way up to Maine come to Northeast Mass for the striper bite. Newburyport Mass where the Merrimac River dumps into the Atlantic. Great top water bite. Big fish should be coming into the area in the next week or so. Please consider it if you want to have fun catching some nice stripers on top water. The whole Northeast coastline of Mass is great striper fishing from Boston all the way to Portland.
Stop by Rob Roy Reservoir if you're ever in Wyoming. Pretty great fishing. Trout up there abso-freakin-lutely go crazy for orange, yellow, and green Powerbait, especially if you're fishing on-shore, literally right next to the boat launch. Also try Chatfield State Park if you're ever passing through Littleton, CO. They have some monster Channel Catfish and Walleye in there.
