I can´t believe they dont sell millions, filling stadiums and making the whole planet just happy with their incredible music, good personalities and A+ skills! I found them 2 weeks ago, i got all albums, ordered a shirt from Japan, i am in a "Facebook Fangroup" and watched probably EVERY musicvideo... I wanna see them live so bad, i listened Drum n Bass now for a decade, because there was no other option in my opinion... Nothing really suited me, too heavy, too lame, i don´t know and i don´t wanna hear the same songs over and over again... Now, everything changed and i am sad that i didn´t heared about this band 5 years ago!
Band-Maid going all Motorhead on ya at the end! This is an older MV from them, I like the live versions better, but, when I first saw this I was still a Band-Maid newbie and this song is where I realized that Akane was and is an absolute beast of a drummer. So much fun to watch and has a unique sound and talent. If it was just a song or two that she shined on, you might want to ascribe it to production or engineering, but her sound is clear and full on everything she does, that is ascribed to talent. She is still my fav in the band, and just whole heartedly believe that she makes this band go. That's not to say I don't think the rest of the band isn't insanely talented as well. They all add their own greatness to the over all sound! Just, you know, Akane!

Akane is a complete BEAST of a Drummer! I still find it hard to believe, she is one of the hardest hitters out there. The amount of energy she produces is unbelievable. And Kanami is also a beast of a guitarist. I'm starting to believe these Band-Maidens are advanced robots cranked up to 11. I knew Japan was the world leader in robotics, but damn they just lapped us. I'm just glad they are putting the bot tech to good use. Now their band name makes sense. It was cleaver of them to take Band Made in Japan and drop the word Japan and dress them up in maid costumes in order to change the word made into maid. Pretty clever.
It's always an event when Mr. Rock'n roll listens to a new Band-maid clip. It's their second biggest hit after Thrill on youtube. At the time I was not believed that they would become more and more popular. They are game changer. They must bother those who decide what goes on American radio. Akane Hirose, they set the pace like a goddess, Kanami composes like a rare talent, Miku puts joy as she knows how to write the lyrics, Saïki puts a purely Western voice, Misa is downright an evil bassliner.

Next time Band-Maid comes to the USA, you'll have to tag along when we travel to their shows. Last year, I traveled to NYC, Dallas, and LA to see four of their shows. I missed the second show in NYC because I had already booked my flights before they announced the second gig.

This is the one that transformed me from "damn, this is good music" to OMFG THE DRUMMER! I HAVE NEW INSPIRATION! Only 3rd song I'd heard. Between the nonstop changes Akane put into each section and the build up and guitar solo there was nothing more that could hold me back. And the thing is it never stops getting better. With every single song.
