AI is getting better and better on his voice. Accent, grit and intonation are freakishly good when you remember, it’s a freaking software package making it!

It's really good. It's pretty cool what they can do with AI and I say enjoy it while you can. Whenever something is good you'll notice that "they" will restrict it more and more and control what can and can't be done and then stuff it full of adds and charges until all that you loved about it is a shadow of what it was. Look at youtube, Netflix, Open AI and so many others.

interesting... i think he would have more gravel and slightly be less on key and less diction... when he screamed or sang a high note his voice cracked a bit. the guitar actually sounds like he's playing it. It's a real shame how we lost him to mental illness and i would love to hear more songs with his voice
I agree on all your points. Would love to see AI improve to a point where we can get so close, you wouldn't notice the difference. Imagine endless amounts of songs from your favorite artists. ❤️

I think the problem with most of these is they rely too much on the original song pretty much just copying the inflections and style but with a different voice. When I listen to this all I can think is that Kurt wouldn’t have sang it like that

This one is almost possible - the song came out the same year Kurt died, just a few months later. And, some Green Day songs were written quite a long time before they were recorded

I talked to Kurt’s neighbor in Washington who used to be used to ride bicycles with him as little kids. The hometown is literally a reflection of the music. Hard to explain the PNW feeling unless you felt the rain for years and staired at the grey overcast skies.
I'm pretty old now and I am glad to be leaving this life sooner rather than later. Younger generations have NO CLUE how bad it is going to be for them in the future. And this video is just one example. It's even more sad to see positive comments.

Definately one of the best AI covers I've heard so far. As has been said previously in the comments, I think he would have had a rougher, gravellier tone especially on the higher notes, but this I reckon is as close as we're ever gonna get and it gives you a great idea of what it might've sounded like had he done it. Great video.

Honestly he would not have done this as a cover. He was a bit deep, he would cover Indy songs to use his over exposure to shine on someone else he admired or envied. It is true he was not as talented as some other professional musicians. With that said he massively underestimated himself. I talk like I actually knew him. Aye, but anyway the likelihood this would happen is zero. Plus, I noticed he says when I jump around, kinda weird. It's cool though.
